Lovely friendly host, very welcoming

The large grass field was great for pets. The rooms are small but cozy with all the things you need. The breakfast is amazing.

The room was very large, with spacious bathroom, separate WC, fridge, even a table and folding chairs if you are eating a meal or snack. Outdoor, enormous garden and furniture. Excellent continental breakfast, fresh home grown fruit and preserves. So close to the Australian war memorial, Villers-Bretoneux for dinner. Extremely good value. For Australians, you must visit the French Australian museum in Villers-Brettoneux, goes well with the memorial.

Absolutely fabulous stay at this beautiful place. The views were amazing. The room was spacious. Hosts were very welcoming. Breakfast was fantastic. Thank you for a wonderful stay. No restaurants close by so we had ham and cheese baguettes for dinner under the stars- was amazing.

“Comfortable one night stop”

Very adequate accommodation for our overnight stay. It was a basic room however well satisfied our needs and comfort. We have no complaints and would stay again. Breakfast was fine but nothing special. Once again it was all we needed. We very much enjoyed the setting which was green, rural and fresh.

The breakfast was tasty and plentiful. It was certainly enough to keep us going through the day.

The owners were very friendly and we managed to communicate well despite our limited French! The outside seating area was beautiful with a view across the garden towards the river. The property was easy to find on arrival in Le Hamel. It was possible to buy a microwaveable meal from the host to heat up in our room, which was tasty and saved a trip out to find a restaurant one evening. Very peaceful setting!

Everything as hoped for except WiFi.

Continental breakfast was fresh and plentiful. Owners very friendly and helpful and generous with their assistance to loan me a coat for a very early morning, cold start to our day for the ANZAC memorial service. Highly recommend this stay.

Lovely country setting with beautiful gardens. The room was comfortable, and breakfast each morning was very good.

The of the property was wonderful. Beautiful gardens, ponds and view. Our room was nice and clean and had everything we needed for a night’s stay. Fridge, microwave, kettle and basic meal preparation equipment were provided. The bed was very comfortable. The owners were warm and friendly.
