The location was expansive with an interesting history. We were made very welcome despite arriving early. We had dinner at short notice which was very good. The Chateau was quiet and peaceful.

Chris and Barbara were perfect hosts and nothing was too much trouble. Bed was really comfortable and the location is exceptionally quiet. The optional meal was perfect and Chris took account of our dietary needs. Breakfast was also ideal.

Chris and Barbara were perfect hosts, very welcoming and informative about places to visit in the area and for our onward journey. We dinned in the chateau and the food was very good and to a very high standard… would definitely recommend eating in if you are staying.

Delightful property ,well appointed bedroom with thoughtful touches . Lovely soaps and large towels . Made to feel very welcome by Chris and Barbara . Delicious meal and full breakfast with lovely home made bread croissants , fresh fruit ,cereal and yogurt as well as cheeses and cold meat .

Barbara and Chris were very welcoming and are lovely people. Lovely rooms and continental breakfast was excellent. Our evening meal was amazing - Chris is a fabulous chef. The Chateau is very special, set in natural gardens. We enjoyed our stay very much.

This was our 3rd stay in 5 years (missing 2 years due to Covid!) & in 2019, we were Chris and Barbara’s very first guests since they took the property over. The chateau, the swimming pool, the grounds and the location all make for a lovely stay, enhanced by Chris and Barbara’s friendly approach to everything. We’ll be back!

“relaxing time in a beautiful chateau”

It was the nicest and coziest accommodation throughout our entire stay in France (and we changed a lot of places). We felt welcome and we were treated very warmly. We loved it that accommodation was in a quiet place, with a lovely pool area, where we also could chat with other guests. The chateau is also a few minutes drive from lovely towns, where you can do some sightseeing and find cute restaurants. If you want, you can also book a dinner at the chateau. Chef Chris prepared an amazing dinner, which we ate in the beautiful area downstairs. I would definitely want to come back!
