“Gorgeous place and supper hosts”
Exceptionally kind hosts who go above and beyond, and beautiful location. The B&B room is nicely decorated and spacious with great views. Even a mini bar. The pool is very large and generally the garden area is very pleasant, with chickens providing the eggs for a phenomenal breakfast. Just a warning to to others: the town looks like a short walk, which it is, but is not to be done in the dark.

Le clos des etoiles is a beautiful property with a stunning view. The house, the garden, the pool area and our room were all exceptional - beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. It is close enough to be able to walk into town and the country lane it is on is quiet and pretty. The breakfast was superb (the best we have had in France!) and the hosts were very attentive and friendly - nothing was too much trouble. We loved the friendly and homely feel and the chickens, who not only entertained us but also gave us eggs for breakfast! We will definitely be back and cannot recommend this highly enough!

“End of Dordogne trip”
This was an amazing place. It is perched on a hillside with beautiful views from the yard and pool. There were several setting areas to look out on the valley. We totally enjoyed wine in the early evening, just taking in the view. Jenny and Marc were so attentive. There were thoughtful details to the room and the breakfast was perfect. This is one place I hope I can come back to in the future.

We stayed 4 nights and every day was great. Jenny and Marc were brilliant hosts and welcomed us. Brilliant location close to a lovely town. Wish we could have stayed longer. Loved the chilled atmosphere and views were amazing.

Beautiful location. Absolutely spotless accommodation exactly as described, and facilities were fantastic. Pool was beautiful, scenery exceptional. Jenny and Marc were brilliant hosts. Cannot recommend this place enough. It is a downhill walk to town (and an uphill back!) but the views are worth it.

Jenny and Marc have gone to extremes to provide a most comfortable accommodation in an idyllic setting. Their attention to detail cannot be faulted and the fitting out of the rooms is immaculate. “Fantastic place to stay would highly recommend”
The location was perfect with amazing views, lovely friendly staff who served a beautifully presented breakfast The only item maybe they could add is a balcony on the door entrance for just a small seat to watch the sunset
