This is a very nice gite just outside Le Bugue. There is another gite at the property and chambres d'hotes which all share a very pleasant swimming pool. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly and gave us the most delicious homemade jam on our first day. The gite is very nice inside and is shaded by trees around it, so it stays cool when hot. As we were there at the end of the summer, the mornings were sometimes cold but it was still the right temperature inside. There were cotton sheets on the beds and mosquito screens at the bedroom windows so on warmer night we could leave the windows open. There is plenty of crockery and pots and pans etc, which are somtimes in short supply in holiday homes.

“A fantastic, family friendly Gite in a wonderful location with kind and welcoming hosts”
We loved staying in this gorgeous Gite with access to a fantastic pool in a delightful location. Our hosts were extremely welcoming and kind and were happy to communicate everything to us in perfect English which we really appreciated as our French is somewhat limited. The Gite is spacious and well equipped with more than enough room for our family of four. The mosquito screens on the windows were a real bonus allowing us to sleep with the windows open on hot nights. Le Petit Noyer is situated in a fantastic location with many delights of the Dordogne region close to hand. We enjoyed a relaxing and restorative holiday in this calm and peaceful location. We can't recommend this property highly enough and hope to visit again in the future.

“Lovely peaceful family gite”
Pool and space in gite was great for 6 people. Quiet area but very close to travel to various attractions. Hoasts brought us fans when the weather so hot and humid they were always there for help if we needed them. Fridge freezer good size and kitchen was well equipped for cooking all meals.
