“Great location for cycling”

We'd stayed at the apartment next door before and this one is a little smaller and less 'flash' but really clean and has everything you need. The family live in the main house but it still felt very private. There's a great space for storing bikes (and presumably skis in the winter). The outdoor decking is a good place to sit in the evening, and it's maybe only a 15–20 minute walk into Le Bourg d'Oisans. We cooked most evenings as well as using the kitchen for breakfasts; it had all the essentials. Would recommend, especially if you want a quiet stay with great access to the big-name cols. The only 'good to know' that I can think of is that the second bedroom really is an attic space reached by a ladder so maybe best for youngsters.

Located in the quiet outskirts of Bourg des L’Oisans, still with the village centre within reach. The place was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The mattress and bed were great. Exceptional location next to the base of the Alpe d’Huez and also for us it was a great base to explore the area.

Small house located between the mountains in a quiet place. There is an opportunity to swim in the lake, ride bicycles and go hiking. The houses have all you need, it is clean, the hostess is friendly. I highly recommend it!

“Perfect holiday retreat for both cycling lovers”

We were so lucky to discover this property which became available just before the Tour de France 2022. Spotted it, and grabbed it on the same day it became available. Walking distance to the town along the beautiful promenade along the river (Le Bourg d'Oisans, departing point for Stage 13, 20 minutes) and the legendary slope of Alpe d'Huez. Brand-new chalet so well equipped with hospitality and attention to detail by the friendly host Melanie, next to the river, surrounded by the tall steep mountains. Lovely terrace with table and chairs outside of the kitchen overlooking the beautiful scenery, perfect place to have breakfast or evening drinks. When we came back late at night after an unusually hot day (33c) the house was boiling and we had to leave the windows open for a while, but the bedroom at the back remained cool and we had no problem sleeping. The amazing hospitality of our host Melanie, who introduced us to her neighbour having a garden party at the bottom of Alpe d'Huez where we were warmly welcome. I have no hesitation in recommending this place for both winter and summer. We will be back.
