Lovely peaceful family run chateau. Relaxed atmosphere

Amazing grounds you can explore on foot or by bike. The chateau is obviously gorgeous. Great game room and even a tennis court outside!

Great location in a historical setting on beautiful grounds. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and lots to do as they create many different playgrounds in and around the house. A heated pool completes it. The room on the topfloor was very nice, well finished and quiet. A great place to stay and relax.

We were not able to stay - contacted by them the day before and told there was a plumbing issue in the family room that we had booked but they were trying to fix it. On the day we were told the plumber was still trying to fix the issue and to arrive as planned. On arrival it appeared that there had been no plumber there as previously informed. We were allowed to use the pool and then they had reserved a room for us in their other hotel in Evreux.

We had a wonderful stay at Château du Boulay Morin. Staying in a real château truly felt like stepping into a fairy tale. The estate is stunning, and we especially enjoyed walking through the vast park surrounding the property. It was peaceful, beautiful, and added to the unique atmosphere of the place. The outdoor pool was a perfect way to cool down and relax, especially on warm days. Our room was very spacious, comfortable, and full of character, making us feel at home while still enjoying the charm of a historic château. Breakfast was not huge, but everything was of high quality and carefully selected, which we appreciated. Overall, this was a memorable and unique experience, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a romantic and authentic château stay in Normandy.

The setting was wonderful, there were deer in front of the hotel as the sun went down .We didn’t get chance to use the facilities but the pool looked excellent .We booked last minute earlier that evening and the owners made us most welcome when we arrived .

The facilities were amazing, a lovely warm pool, table football, pool, chess, tennis and play equipment. The deer on the lawn, the 3 husky dogs, the walk in the woods. Like the other reviews, should have booked two nights.

Nicholas was so friendly and welcoming, it’s so relaxed if you want to go swimming at 3am you can! It was spotlessly clean. The chateau is Beautful.

The breakfast is friendly and informal - plenty of fresh products. What I love is the space and the wonderful walks for the dogs. The owners have dogs who are so well behaved and enjoy meeting “new friends” to walk with! It is a wonderful place for dogs to be dogs! Mine finally started to relax and enjoyed the wonderful smells! We have been welcomed back a number of times now and wouldn’t go anywhere else!

“A warm and relaxed overnight stay”

Lovely historic chateau in wooded grounds with friendly approachable hosts who share their love of their home and its history. It is very relaxed and more like staying in someones home rather than a hotel. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean and despite being February the whole chateau was comfortably warm. Evening meals are not offered but one can order a local food delivery if you don't want to drive to a restaurant. We were able to sit in the sumptuous lounge and use the dining room where we ate the food we had ordered and enjoyed breakfast the next morning before continuing our journey.

The property is by far the best property we have ever stayed in. As a family we have travelled the world from America across to the UAE and have never experienced such a fantastic welcome from a business owner. The service we received and the freedom allocated to my family is only a small part of how well this establishment is run. The location the building the service are amazing, and the freedom to interact with history and nature are entwined with fantastic rooms and a sense of belonging that is so important in the world we live in today . From amazing rooms through history filled hallways and not to mention the amazing grounds and swimming pool open all year around. You genuinely will leave the chateaux wishing you had booked longer. I have also stayed in many French hotels but have never been afforded such friendly hospitality that showcases how hard the family and staff work. If you’re lucky the free roaming Deer will make an appearance and you will then settle down in a bed fit for a King and dream of days gone by. Maybe check the history as well because King Louis XIV built this fantastic property and not many people can say they walked in history . As a seasoned traveller this is a hidden gem that shines bright and is worth more than 5 stars .
