“Great overnight stop on route 1 with excellent food.”
Simple but comfortable room. Very comfortable bed and great shower. Very nice evening meal and breakfast. Easy access from route 1 and loads of parking! (Sorry no food photos)

“The room was completely different from the photos”
The room was completely different from the photos of the superior room and was very small. There was no hallway from the entrance to the bed as shown in the photos, and there was no round table or two chairs either. I asked the staff if there might have been a mix-up with a standard room, but they said there wasn’t — though I believe I was deceived. It was my birthday that day, but it turned out to be a very disappointing one. The room was number 108. I urge the hotel to make improvements so that no more guests will have the same unfortunate experience as I did.

Great hotel with very clean and comfortable rooms, helpful staff, and a great breakfast. There are 3 hot tubs outside to use and an old locker room shower area to get ready before. It's a nice place to stay for the area!

“Lovely midway stay between Reykjavik and Akureyi.”
A quiet location with a nicely refurbished family room. We loved using the hot tubs after being in the car most of the day and had them to ourselves as no one else was using them.

“Nice hotel along Ring Road 1 North-West”
Very nice staff , Good beds , Very good food and service in the restaurant , Reasonably priced compared to other hotels along Ring Road 1. (Iceland is generally very expensive) , Easy free parking , Fine room.
