“Good Stay”

- We found the town of Laugar to be a very pleasant stop between Mývatn and Akureyri, we were in this area for two days, but stayed in this guest house for only day 1 of 2. - The kitchenette is fully equipped and has most of the things you need to cook. - The rooms are spacious with decent sized bathrooms. - They have a hot tub but we didn't get an opportunity to use that.

The accommodation matched the photos well; simple, yet warm and clean. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the place was very quiet at night, making it easy to get a good night’s sleep. It’s about a 30mins drive from the Mývatn area, and there’s a small grocery store just a 10 mins walk away. Overall, a great value stay in a peaceful location.

“Clean and overall perfect guesthouse”

Christina is a very friendly host and the guesthouse got everything you need. It is very clean and we felt very well during our 3 nights! Until now the best place during our Island round trip.

Excellent location. Close to a lot of points of interest in Myvatn, Godafoss, etc. Lovely town. Has all kitchen essentials. The town also has a restaurant that serves tasty food.

Well laid out. Large room. Travelling with another couple. Able to cook for all 4 of us in one unit. Very quiet. Nice wine glasses and good knives.

the location was perfect for us - we didn't have breakfast... we are not breakfast people. The room was perfect, the bed was really comfy and all the cutlery, plates and stuff for cooking was perfect. Thank you - we'll come again :-)

A very nice appartment with complete kitchen (toaster, keetle, micowaves, coffee maker) and toilet. Beds are confortable, heating is good and cleanliness is perfect. The owner is very kind and the appartment is close to Godafoss fall and Myvatn lake. Tou can park for free just outside, next to the appartment.
