Staying at this accommodation was a truly unforgettable experience. Not only is it located in a magical and breathtaking setting, but the place itself is the epitome of luxury, class, and exceptional taste. “We enjoyed our stay despite the niggles.”
It took time to find the entrance as it was up steps to the side, I rang Ann but got no reply, but then discovered the entrance, I left her a message to say we were in as requested. Ann did not contact me till later the next day. We had not realised the property faced North, fine in summer, but could only use the terrace briefly the 1st evening as it was to cold to sit out. It would be nice to have had some blankets to sit outside with. We had stayed for several days before at an apartment in Carcassone, where we were able to sit out every evening. The apartment was expensive in comparison to the one in Carcassone ( which was not available for more than 3 days.) which was only slightly smaller and was better equipped in the kitchen. However the view from the terrace was amazing. The different width pillows on the bed which was otherwise very comfy. The rocking chair looked interesting but was highly uncomfortable. The kitchen could do with a few more small pans for 2, rather than 1 and several huge pans, tongs would also have been useful.
