We originally planned to stay two nights, but due to a planning mistake we arrived a day earlier — and luckily they had availability, so we ended up staying three nights. What was meant to be just a short stop between Bocas del Toro and Santa Catalina turned into one of the best stays of our entire trip. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely relaxed. The location is incredibly peaceful — surrounded by nature, birds and greenery. The garden is beautiful and very well maintained, and the whole place has a calm, zen atmosphere. Even our children immediately settled down and felt relaxed. The bungalow itself was spotlessly clean — honestly the cleanest accommodation we’ve stayed in so far during our travels. Fresh-smelling linens, very comfortable beds, air conditioning, a fan, and a well-equipped bathroom with shampoo and shower gel provided. Everything was clearly cared for with attention and love. The small pool was perfect for the kids, and there is also a lovely yoga space which we used to work out — a great extra touch. And then the food… absolutely outstanding. The owners are Italian, and the Italian cuisine here is exceptional. The quality is very high — not the cheapest, but more than worth the price. We honestly had some of the best pasta we’ve ever eaten. On Saturdays they host a fish barbecue, which normally needs to be reserved in advance (we were lucky to be there that day). It was amazing: generous portions, beautifully prepared, delicious sauces and around five different types of fish. Even the kids loved it — and that says a lot. I’m not usually a fish eater, but this was truly excellent. The hosts themselves are incredibly kind and welcoming — people with a genuine heart of gold. I was also able to do laundry during our stay, which was very convenient. This place is much more than a stopover. It’s a destination in itself. We left feeling rested, calm and grateful — and would return without hesitation.

Really beautiful place to stay, it was really relaxing and beautiful, myself and my wife really enjoyed our stay, the hosts are so friendly and welcoming, they really make the stay amazing and comfortable, the bungalow was of a good size, super clean and really comfortable with everything you need on a relaxing stay, the pool is lovely and we had great fun, the breakfast is really good, fresh and delicious, the food in the restaurant is excellent, great choice and everything myself and my wife had was delicious and cooked to perfection, we will definitely stay here again as we loved it.

“Lovely boutique hotel with restaurant”

Lovely boutique hotel with extensive mature gardens. Wonderful Italian restaurant on site, the gnocchi is to die for. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable and wifi was good

“Expectations exceeded”

Everything. From the moment I arrived until after I’d extended to a third night. Everything exceeded my expectations. Chantal and Giorgio are hospitality ‘naturals’. Upon my arrival, Chantal met me halfway along the path (rather than wait for me to find her) and greeted me warmly, guided me back to the restaurant area and offered me a glass of water. Usually upon arrival at a hotel, I’m automatically prepared to offer my passport followed by prepayment of my accommodation. Not at Naturalmemte! My bungalow was one of the best rooms I’ve stayed at in over the last year of travel in SE Asia and Sth America. It is thoughtfully designed and appointed with everything I’d want, from toiletries to a fridge and coffee plunger. I spent two days in the hammock hanging at the front of the bungalow reading a novel selected from the hotels small library. The occasional swim in the clean pool kept me refreshed. Breakfast, included in the tariff, was superb. Chilled juice, great coffee, plentiful selection of fresh fruit, two cereals, sourdough (yes, real bread) toast with cream cheese and thinly sliced cold meat or/and a selection of jams plus homemade chocolate cake. No eggs wanted or needed for me but there is further add ons if you desire. Three reasonably priced dinners - each memorable. Chantal and Giorgio make their own pasta (Giorgio is Italian trained) with their menu being based on Italian and Mediterranean cuisines. A welcome change from chicken or chicken….. The peaceful setting at Naturalmemte rejuvenated me completely. Highly recommended.

The free breakfast was wonderful and included home made bread, cakes, fruit, coffee, tea, and cereal. One can order eggs etc, but we don't need a lot of food at breakfast time.

We liked the comfort and facilities, the tranquility and beauty of the garden, the freshness of the pool, the hospitality of Chantal and Giorgio and the genuine mediterranean food :) highly recommanded for a good rest!

Everything about this place is over-the-top wonderful. Chantal and Geogio are quite a team; no detail is overlooked. They've created a little oasis of paradise. The complementary breakfast is excellent, but plan to stay for dinner too--outstanding! We very much enjoyed our stay and hope to return.

In a month of travelling and staying in various styles of accommodation in Panama, the cabins ticked all the boxes for us. They were rustic but extremely clean, with a comfortable bed and good-sized bathroom and shower and a lovely terrace with a small fridge, kettle and tea bags (very unusual in Panama!), and most importantly the whole stay was quiet and peaceful. We especially enjoyed a refreshing dip in the pool before walking only a few yards to the restaurant for a delicious dinner. I highly recommend a stay here or even just popping in for lunch or dinner. 5 stars!!

The best stay we had in Panama. Lovely host, fantastic dinner and breakfast. Food very reasonable priced At the bungalow you can make your own coffee or tea and there is a small refrigerator. Just a perfect stop for us between Santa Catalina and Boquete.

Loved the host and her food. Expect to see and feel nature when you go to bungalows, bugs for example. We did not mind, since we chose bungalows ourselves instead of a hotel. We liked the experience. Nice little pool. Very friendly host. She helped us plan some of our activities for a couple of days. Would recommend.

A real gem: wonderfully inviting and friendly place. Beautiful bungalows set in a lush garden. Restaurant serves some seriously delicious Italian cuisine (best gnocchi ever). Owners were the perfect hosts: they were warm and welcoming and made us feel right at home. Wished we would have stayed for longer!

The food served for breakfast and dinner was oh so yummy! Highly recommend making dinner reservations during your stay. The owners also own a Pizza restaurant in town where they make traditional thin crust. If you have the time check it out. Also a gelateria next door to the pizza restaurant 👍
