From the outside this looks like a great place (apartment park is well maintained; nice view; rooms are spacious). But it is not. I will tell you why. The bathroom is quite outworn/dirty (see pictures). Noone in the entire staff speaks even one word of English. Prior to coming here I had some questions about the booking. but neither in English nor in Spanish they react on anything. Not by email, not by phone, not by WhatsApp. Even not reacting when booking.com reached out to them. These people really need to learn to communicate properly. After checking in I paid them 315 USD cash. I asked for a receipt, but noone was able to make one up. Never got my receipt, tough luck. Also, the wifi password provided in the apartment was wrong (sloppy...) But worse, in the apartment hung a pretty bizar paper with everything you must or mustn't do, including the financial penalties for not obeying (see picture). That stuff doesn't make one feel welcome. Again, communicate in a normal way. Communicate, don't dictate.

“Nice decor”

The decor is very nice and the location too. It was quiet when we visited and I think we were the only guests there. Breakfast was ok. Staff are very nice, they did not offer any recommendations but were always nice when we spoke to them.

Staff was very nice and friendly. Location is very close to the beach and also to the main street. Hotel’s restaurant was fine for a dinner.

Special thanks to the owners and the staff of the hotel, they were very helpful when I stepped on a sea urchin, helped me to get the sting out ! The garden is very beautiful. The breakfast is ok but could be better, it’s just bread with eggs and jam.

The hotel is a little green oasis with super friendly staff and very clean rooms! I felt very safe, warmly welcomed and comfortable there as a solo traveller. Would recommend it to anyone and looking forward to coming back!

The host and the staff in generally were very friendly, always helpful and even fluent in english. The food in the restaurant was very good as well.

Fantastic stay in a very quiet and peaceful location. The room I had was spacious, bright with hot water. TV with streaming services to chill out to after a busy day at the beach. There is a jacuzzi and a covered full kitchen in the garden for all to use and both were well kept and spotlessly clean. Robinson was a great help, thank you. Small walk out the back gate and you are on the beach FANTASTIC. Plenty of inexpensive restaurants 2 minute walk away. Transport towards Samana is regular and extremely well priced. For me I had the privacy and peaceful time that I was looking for. I would not hesitate rebooking a stay here in the future.

Ariane and her husband were very welcoming! They offered us a better quality room because we came in low season and one was available. the food is delicious. the staff were very attentive and answered all our questions. We felt at home! The location is ideal, close to the beach and the shops of Las Galeras.

The property it’s well located on walk distance from the beach. The restaurant has good food, also the breakfast it’s good. The staff it’s great, everyone really kind. So an amazing place to spend time in as the region it’s rustic and don’t offer many options of what to do outside the hotel. The beach nearest it’s beautiful and you also can do tours from there.
