We like host , she was very nice and talkative. Everything was celan, very nice, lot of facilities in small accomodation. You have there all you need for a stay. It is near the airport when you have a car, near shops. Very nice Scandinavia style. We came late in the night and chek in was simple and good.

That was absolutely unforgettable stay! Anne-Mette is one of the nicest people I've ever met! She was taking care of me all the time, we even had a cup of tea together and a really nice conversation. Also the quality of a room was great - tidy, warm and with lots of amenities - like in real house. I arrived to Larvik without any expectations, but I left convinced that I have second mother here - Anne-Mette showed me what the empathy is and I will never forget that! Surely I will go back here!

The owner is the sweetest person on earth, period. The place is located less than 10min away from the Larvik Ferry. The place have everything you need to spend a cozy warm night in the cold winter! My dogs have appreciated so much the spot for them!!

We really appreciated the detailed and clear check-in instructions received prior to arrival. Even though we could let ourselves in, the host still made an effort to greet us and ensure we had everything we needed, offering further assistance if required. We didn't need to ask for anything because the cabin literally had everything! The most unique and amazing service was the "dishwashing fairy" – the host asked us to leave dishes outside, collected and washed them, then returned them promptly. That was truly fantastic service!

Thank you, the reception was very hospitable and pleasant. We would gladly return to stay there again.

We stayed for a week and felt very comfortable. You can cook for yourself using the stove integrated into a small oven. The shower has underfloor heating to keep your feet warm on cold mornings. The very soft water leaves no traces on the walls of the shower and kettle. It is also possible to wash clothes and dry them in the dryer. It is not possible to wash the dishes yourself, but the owner found a very interesting solution to this problem. We put the dishes in a plastic box, and the owner washed them during the day in the dishwasher, and later in the evening we picked up the clean dishes. Larvik is a beautiful city and the area around it is full of nature, so if you love and appreciate hiking, this is the perfect place.

Super cozy annex, very convenient washer and dryer, lovely area and an absolutely wonderful host. Bed was comfy and the tiny kitchen area had all you could need including tea & coffee! We felt very at home and didn't want to leave!

Am Norvin from India and this is my first night in Norway at Idyllisk Lite. The stay is beautiful, and we had an amazing time with many wonderful moments. The place is very calm and quiet, full of love. I have traveled to many countries, and this has been my favorite place to stay. It’s a perfect, charming spot for couples. Moreover, Anne, the owner, is an incredibly kind person. She treats her guests like her own family. In my Indian culture, we say "atithi devo bhava," which means "The guest is equivalent to God." Anne guided us on where to travel in Norway and shared insights about Norwegian culture along with her fascinating stories. We even went out for a lovely dinner with her. It was my first experience with an accommodation owner being so hospitable. Additionally, since it was a Saturday night and we couldn’t buy alcohol outside the shops, she offered us free wine and beer. We initially declined, but she insisted, sharing her generosity with us. To my friends and others reading this review, I assure you that you will be 100% satisfied with your stay here. 100% cleanliness 100% calm and peaceful Full facilities include: - Washing machine - Oven - Stove - Small outdoor garden with chairs and table (which is delightful) - Kitchen utensils - Bathroom with shower - Heater - Beautiful green surroundings

“An Authentic Norwegian Experience!”

Anne-Mette is such a kind and thoughtful host! The house was absolutely charming—clean, cozy, and beautifully arranged, and had everything we needed. When we asked her about where to buy alcohol, she went above and beyond and even offered us some beer herself, which was such a sweet gesture. Her hospitality truly made our stay special. We highly recommend staying here!
