The actual property was ok. Some questionable structures example living room was impracticable, the stairs up to the roof were tiny and almost dangerous, car port was tiny. You could barely get the car in.

“We are coming back!”

We are frequent visitors to the island of Gotland, but we usually stay in the city of Visby or Sudersand. We have now found our new favourite, Vastos! This area is just gorgeous, and not a crowded tourist trap like all of the other resorts. This is pure quality housing in the middle of the beautiful gotland nature with the ocean just outside. We have never stayed in anything like this before. it is so convenient to have your own large house, and modern and new as well. Not to mention the roof top, with the view. Well, we look forward to our next stay here.

very modern and clean. nice surrounding in the Gotland nature. I haven’t found any place like this in the rest of Gotland, we are definitely coming back since this is unique.

“Worst experience ever!”

This was the worst experience I have ever had staying in any hotel or resort. Iam a lifetime Platinum Elite member in Marrriot bonvoy program, So I have been staying in all other the world in different staying arrangement so I know how a bad and a great experience is! The compound did not at all meet what had been described when we booked it, it is more a construction site, no AC even it was stated when we did the booking. I send Email to the hotel-have still received any input regarding the AC. No beach! The worst part was when we left the place, we got a call and was told we have damaged the dinner table and should pay and also pay for cleaning as it was more dirty then "Normal"! Cleaning is according to the contract included. After driving back to understand what the issues was, I was meet with rude people that stated quote "how dirty do you have it in you home". when asked that it have been 29 degrees inside and the AC have not worked and we could not feed our 20 month daughter in the heat I was told " it is summer, deal with it". After 30 min argument with 3 people I was asked to pay 2000 kr for damaging a dinner table! I explained that the table was like that when we came and we have used 1/4 of the table due to we are 2 adults and a child. The only mistake we made was not take a picture and record it. 2000 kr for refurbish the table! What can a child and 2 adult do in a 5 days stay so the table is so damaged that you should be asked for paying for water stains! I was told if I refuse to pay the company later would be next step! I was told I will get a faktura for 2000 kr! Obviously the table is a terrible choice by the hotel to be placed in a villa that should be a staying place for 10 people. There is obvious water stains on the table, anyone that have had wood-table know that they are hard to manage. This place Is not cheap and you do not get at all value for your money and i do do do not recommend it.

The location is perfect. You are in the forest, 50 meters from the sea and close to a path. It is a good location for day trip between Visby and top Fårö.
