The accomodation is located in a very central location in the old city of l’Aquila, so everything is reachable via foot. The hosts were very friendly and helped us a lot with reccomendations. Also the room was very clean.

I loved my stay at Palazzo dei Pavoni, everything was perfect! The owners are very kind and helpful. The Palazzo is well located downtown, there is a little supermarket nearby, it is really quiet and dark at night, the bed is comfortable, the shower is great with really hot water, and the breakfast is great. I will definitely return if I go back to L'Aquila!

The room was elegant and comfortable, spotless clean, and in a freshly refurbished beautiful historical building. Very central, only few steps from the main street in the historical center. The breakfast was excellent with a variety sweet and salty local products. The host are very nice and kind and we had very nice conversation at breakfast time. They make you feel very welcome.

Love the room and the history of the place. A minute walk to the main street, and just 3 minutes walk to the Doumo church. Love the personal touch of both hosts, both Fabiana and her husband did everything to make my short stay memorable. The breakfast service was exceptional and unique. I will definitely visit again!

Our stay at Palazzo dei Pavoni was great in every aspect: the communication for the check in, the explanations for the arrival, the beautiful room and finally meeting our hosts at breakfast (which was also rich and interesting). They were helpful, knowledgeable and extremely kind. In our next visit to L'Aquila we will defiantly come back.

“Great location with great hosts in an elegant space!”

Palazzo dei Pavoni offered us a beautiful place to stay, very close to the elegant city center of L’Aquila. The hosts Fabiana & Alessandro were hospitable, warm, kind and knowledgeable about this gem of a city. They served us breakfast that was consistent with the charm and the warm welcome their B&B and the city offer to its visitors. Far from being the usual continental breakfast, the breakfast spread had a taste of everything Abruzzo has to offer from its Pecorino cheese to a variety of cold cuts, pastries, croissants and fresh bread (warmed up too)with three jams and honey to sweeten. Of course served with glorious capuccino/Italian coffee. Thank you!

Large, quiet, very comfortable, great hosts delivering a super breakfast. Fabiana allowed me to keep my bike in the flat. If you are basing yourself in L’Aquila for cycling stay here.
