Casa Mary is very well situated in Lanquin. The host is excellent and she will go out of her way to make sure you have the best stay possible whilst in Lanquin. You can book all your transfers and tours through the property which took the stress away for us, and they will even pick you up and drop you off at the bus station in a tuktuk, for no extra cost. The rooms have two fans and are spacious and comfortable, the bathrooms are clean and there is a shop at the property so you can purchase drinks, snacks and icecreams.

Mary and Luis were amazing hosts! They picked us up at the bus station and dropped us when we were leaving, helped us finding local tour guides, booking transportation for our next destination and gave us great tips. The room was fresh, clean and the bed pretty comfortable. The shared garden is also a great place to chill. Totally recommended!

Best place to stay in lanquin! Felt safe and at home, great rooms, perfect location, recommand doing the tour with david, bonus: to be picked up and brought back to the bus station in a tuktuk. Booked the next transportation with them and ended in a very spacious van in perfect conditions for a 10 h ride which happened to be the best we had in guatemala!

Mary and her husband took such great care of us, Mary was so helpful and it was very easy to book everything with them, and Luis gave us a free ride to and from the bus station :) the small group tour or just transport to Semuc Champey was very affordable. Small place away from the noise of the town that felt homely.

Mary is very kind and helpful, the hostel offers bus for Flores and Antigua at very good prices. She took us from the bus station with a tuktuk and didn't change us.

“Very nice and loving stay”

Very nice hostel. The family is reallly loving and funny. We took the tour to Semuc with their son David and it was super fun - I can recommend it to everyone; the caves are really worth seeing. Also we nearly forgot a powerbank and 200 quetzales and they were so kind and honest to bring everything to us to the bus station. Showers are hot and location is in the middle of Lanquin, next to a really nice restaurant.

The owners of this place - Mary and Luis - are a true gem of kindness. This is a simple place, but in the end nothing is missing. The hosts will make sure you feel welcome and oriented, they’ve picked me up from the bus station, and took me back there when I led early in the morning. Had a room for myself with a fan, a comfortable bed and decent space. Again, simple but feels like home. For me the location was a great plus - Lanquin is a lovely village, and everything was nearby

Very friendly family to stay with! They took great care of us and they are really sweet. We also did the samuc champay tour with their son David, which was a lot of fun! He is really friendly and made the tour extra special. Facilities are also nice, beautiful rooms, warm shower and clean rooms.
