“Fantastic Place to Stay!”

What a fantastic find this was. Lisa & Danny are truly wonderful people and we didn’t want for anything during our stay. Every little detail is catered for and the accommodation really is beautiful and very comfortable. The chickens were a delight to be around as were the hotel surroundings, very peaceful & relaxing. 10/10.

“Wonderful Stay”

I had a wonderful stay at Maison de Mags & Mags! I had the "Venus" room (that is very spacious), and it was beautifully decorated. I really enjoyed the attention to details, how the owner had thought about anytime that could be useful (bottle of water + glasses, tea/boiler, cotton buds, several cosmetics...). The bed was unexpectedly ultra comfortable. The owner warmly welcomed me, and was super accommodating. The breakfast was really nice – the croissant and pain of chocolat were definitely good. I'll definitely recommend this venue, and I hope to go back there.

We got the 'wow factor' as soon as we entered the property. We were greeted by Lisa and Danny, the most helpful, kind and courteous hosts we have met. A brief tour of the house and gardens made us want to dump the bags and look closer. The house is amazing and the gardens etc. outside were perfect for relaxing.. and dining. We were overwhelmed by the size and decor of the bedroom. The styling was wonderful and we felt that we were staying in a grand chateau The town and the local area are fantastic. Everything you need (and a whole lot more) for a shorts stay in the French countryside. The breakfast and food were fantastic... the sharing platters are huge...great for a meal on arrival and lunch next day :). Can't say enough great things about Maison Mags de Mags...maybe a small 'shout out' to the dogs and chickens that kept us amused whilst Lisa and Danny got busy spoiling us.

The Masison de Mags & Mags was an absolute delight!! Stunning unique decor, beautiful gardens, fantastic continental breakfast including eggs laid by the Maison’s hens and lovely, welcoming & friendly owners Lisa and Dan who made us feel very at home. Also a fantastic location for local chateau wedding as well as local supermarket & auberge. We loved our stay & would thoroughly recommend!

AMAZING place to stay, wonderful hosts, bedroom was one of the best we have stayed in anywhere in Europe! For a B&B this exceeded most 5* hotels in comfort and luxury! Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts. If you are visiting on a Sunday or Monday, order a plank, €25 for 2 with wine you will not be disappointed it was the loveliest meal we shared in SW France and we were there for a week and in Bordeaux City most of the time. Cannot wait to return and will stay for longer than one night next time!

Our room was so beautiful and the bed was soo comfortable. Hadn’t had such great sleep in ages. Beautiful grounds. Our hosts were so helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Breakfast was great too.

I really enjoyed my stay, the host where very accommodating and friendly. The room was increíble with a super comfortable bed and huge bath. All in all increíble experience. Will definitely go back if I go across that road.

Lovely place and owners. The room was perfect; clean (hard to find in France), spacious, nicely decorated and the owners really thought of everything. Furthermore, the building itself is a work of love and has a nice garden to enjoy. Overall, great value for money.

A very welcome pit-stop in a very comfortable and recently renovated hotel close to the centre of town, a lovely old building. Great attention to detail and a very nice breakfast too. Kind hosts thoughtfully opened gates so that we could park safely off the road with our bikes etc.

Very kind and friendly hosts. They made us feel very welcome and were willing to help with anything. It's also clearly visible how much work, love and attention to detail went into creating the rooms. Very good bed, very good shower and everything was spotlessly clean. So if you want a different experience from any standard hotel, this is a great choice!
