Overview
This historic manor house is located close to the Husby Ring ecological museum and 44 km from the Falu copper mines. It is set in three buildings dating back to 1856. Guest rooms at Långhyttans Brukshotell have a TV, free WiFi and a private bathroom. Many offer views of the surrounding parkland. A daily breakfast buffet is available. Dinner can be booked in advance. The surrounding area offers activities such as hiking, fishing and cross-country skiing, and the hometown of the painter Carl Larsson, Sundborn, is only a 45-minute drive away from Långhyttans Brukshotell.

“Refreshingly beautiful Swedish country house”
The Brukshotell has to be the most delightful B&B we have ever stayed in. We wanted a Swedish countryside experience after our city stay in Stockholm, and chose the perfect country house with the perfect hosts. Carl and Celeste welcomed us like friends. Not only that, but Celeste is an accomplished chef! Be sure to book for dinner as you will be treated to an original, superb three-course menu featuring local meats and produce. The country house is just lovely, set in leafy green grounds and within walking distance of lakes and even a Swedish elk park. Carl Larsson's iconic house is a 30 minute drive as is Falun, so there is much to explore in the area. But for peace and quiet, you couldn't find a more perfect setting. The rooms were spacious and airy, the beds very comfortable, and we left with a sense of total refreshment. A most special place we definitely look forward to returning to.

“Very atmospheric, very enjoyable stay, to be recommended”
We liked the stylish exterior and interior of the building, the individual reception by the nice owner, the quiet inside and outside, the magnificent park surrounding the property, and the easy parking. There is no restaurant proper in Långshyttan, but do not hesitate to give the local pizza and grill a try. Very friendly folks, good food.

“A 3 star stay over”
The hôte was very nice, great company and really always on hand when needed. I hadn't had time to book a dinner for the evening and they went out of their way to get me a 3 star dinner. As beautiful as it was délicious. I will come back as sure.

“Wonderful place”
Beautiful manor house in a beautiful park, very calming energy and a lot of green. We stayed in the annex where we had a family room / flat, which was great. Very nicely furnished with everything you need. Sadly we could only stay for one night! The owners are warm and very kind.
