Overview
Set on the shores of Längelmävesi Lake, this bright cottage comes with a fully equipped kitchen and rural views. Guests have use of a rowing boat and BBQ facilities as well as a beach area. The cottage features a furnished terrace and a living area with a fireplace and a TV. Salkolahti Lomamökit also has a washing machine and tumble dryer. There is a lakeside sauna available in the summer with views out over the lake. Salkolahti Lomamökit is also only 35 minutes’ drive from Himos ski resort. Hiking and cross-country skiing can be enjoyed in the surrounding countryside. Längelmäki village is a 10-minute drive away, while the town of Jämsä is 37 km away and offers a selection of shops and restaurants.

Very nice host, accurate, flexible. Very nice house, splendid view. We changed to the new house nearer the water with superb sauna.

We loved the location - very private and quiet. The house is big, we are a family of 4 and we were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. We really enjoyed the saunas and the row boat. Stunning view, we got the see the night sky and the northern lights!

“Wonderful option for the area”
This place was a real surprise. From the photos I was pretty much expecting a "holiday home" that was basically like a caravan with thin walls - like you find in a lot of places. This was a solid, spacious and well-built house, off on its own by the house, complete with a canoe to use. Really comfortable and an unexpected highlight of the trip. I'd strongly recommend this house to anyone coming to the area.

Everything was as advertised, and according to reviews. Everything that you might need in an accomodation for a quick vacation in the nature was available (except food).
