Situated in Långasjö village centre, this hostel is housed in a 19th-century stable. It offers free WiFi, free parking and rooms and cottages with private or shared bathroom facilities. “Woodland peace and tranquillity.”
The forest setting with the lake was wonderful. The accommodation was simple but all we needed. The cooking facilities were excellent with many essentials supplied. The breakfast was good. Best of all were the charming German ladies who run this business. Nothing for them was too much trouble. Our stay was a real pleasure and not expensive.

“Worth half what it cost”
Host was very friendly, breakfast area looked lovely. History of the building is interesting. Parking easy. Dining options and supermarket just up the road.

The rooms are nicer than they looked on the pictures and the bathroom is only shared with one other room, so it's not a problem at all to share! When we had to catch our train in the morning and there was no taxi to take us, she offered to bring us. Thank you so much for your kindness Sissi! There's a nice park with a lake to swim in on the other side of the road.

As a trekker I decided to book this accommodation in the very morning of the same day. The communication was very good and Sissi really saved me with the "minibar" because I barely had any food left and the supermarket was already closed and also closed the next day. She also spontaneously made me a delicious breakfast. Everything was incredibly clean and really cosy. Would definitely visit again!
