Nice room. Great location with nice views. Had the car in the garage so we didn’t have to bother about the heavy snow. The personal helped us with the luggage which was very appreciated. The spa saunas were nice.

“Brilliant Location, Disappointing Cuisine”

The hotel enjoys an enviable location, directly on the slopes, and is staffed by a team whose professionalism and courtesy were consistently evident particularly the young staff managing both dinner and breakfast service with admirable diligence. The front desk was likewise efficient and gracious. Regrettably, the culinary experience did not match the same standard. Despite considerable promotional emphasis on the restaurant, the execution was poor. The trout was served cold and entirely lacking in flavour, the vegetarian butternut squash dish uninspired, the chicken dry, the mashed potatoes unappetising in both taste and appearance, and the pasta noticeably overcooked. Breakfast, though well staffed, became monotonous, with little variation across five days. The room, while serviceable, was let down by its bathroom fitted with only a hand-held shower over a tub and no enclosure, making the experience impractical and uncomfortable. Had this been made clear at bookings or hotel’s website, we would have selected an alternative category, even at higher cost. That said, having stayed at the sister property, we much preferred this one with its slope-side access, superior presentation, and higher standards of cleanliness made a marked difference. With meaningful attention to the dining and room design, this hotel has the potential to truly stand out.

So very comfy bed and pillows, so clean. Tea/ coffee large bottles of water in room and Nice toiletries - all incredibly personal and friendly. Lovely dinner in the restaurant and great breakfast. The personal approach is sadly unusual in most hotels, but not this one! Delightful management. Fabulous views and safe parking. Excellent stay.
