“Excellent Lakeside, traditional Japanese cottage”
Excellent traditional Japanese house, which is hundred years old, but fitted with all the latest gadgets and technology. Everything is available at the right place You can see the lake Toya just outside the cottage. The host is very friendly and an excellent gentleman. He has a special connection to India because he has visited Varanasi many times and has learnt to play Tabla. He went out of his way to pick us up from the cruise terminal before check-in and drop us back to the railway station after checkout. I would recommend this property if you like to stay in old rustic places with modern facilities.

Really good place, whole vibe was organic and country style experience in the woods. Owner was also really helpful and friendly.

“Great spot for nature lovers”
This is the only place we have stayed where there was an opportunity to put food leftovers into compost. It had everything we needed if we were better organised! The staff picked us up from nearby as we got lost!
