“Highly recommended”

A cosy house with a truly lovely terrace and garden. The view of the volcano is stunning and adds a special charm to the stay. The host was very friendly and welcoming, and we especially enjoyed visits from the cute neighbour cat (kociczka xd). The area is calm and quiet, and having a roofed parking space was a great convenience.

The property is on the edge of Lajares by the Caldera which is absolutely great because it is so quiet and relaxed, at night it is really silent and waking up in such calm is quite immersive, highly recommended if you need to relax. It is an older property but really well maintained and the simplicity is very humbling. The garden is mature and the bird life is very diverse, something we have never found in many properties in all the years we have visited. The proximity to bars and restaurants is fantastic at the top of Calle Majanicho, a good walk to town but we absolutely loved that to get steps in. If walking up to the caldera is your thing, you are on the start of the trail, fantastic. The washing is in Pablos garden at the back and all solar, so environmentally conscious. Pablo himself has a wonderful welcoming smile, we speak little Spanish and he little English but he was really great as a host let us get on with it, he changed the gas bottle and was just so accommodating and let us get on with our time relaxing. We always choose a place with outdoor furniture to sink in to and let the worlds stress go, the villa did that 100%. We always have a late flight as normal and Pablo was cool letting us stay a little longer, really nice touch. We would recommend staying here and we will go back! For our 6th visit to Lajares, we have a good feel of properties and this is certainly one worth a return. We will do that!

Very nice quiet place, lovely garden and very friendly owner :)

I have stayed at Casa al Volcán de Lajares twice now—first in fall 2023, and I just returned from an epic surf trip in late October 2024. Pablo is a fantastic host and land owner, making the experience even better. The house is impeccably clean, very comfortable, and particularly convenient for surfers. It’s perfectly located for traveling, surfing, and exploring the beautiful north shore of Fuerteventura. You’re right in the heart of the action, with about a 10-minute drive to both sides of the island. I can’t recommend it enough! I will definitely return to enjoy the stunning direct view from the couch overlooking Calderón Hondo. The view is breathtaking and just a short walk away!
