“Awful. We were stressed and upset by our experience”
We didn’t get to stay here. We waited over an hour and a half for the reception to open and when it still wasn’t open 40 minutes after it said it would be we booked somewhere else.

“Ridiculous.”
This is the text we’ve sent when we arrived at the hotel, because contact by telephone did not work: Please open the door We are at your hotel and booked a room for tonight. Your hotel is closed !!! We are standing in front of the door and the hotel is closed !!! We are leaving to find a new hotel for the night. Gerard der Kinderen. Very friendly people of a bar near the hotel helped us to contact the owner by telephone. The owner of the hotel gave us an entrance code ant told us to pick the key from room 26. So we did. After we’ve had diner in a restaurant nearby when we returned to the hotel, by accident the owner arrived by car. He asked us if we had found the key and if everything was allright. All night there was no staff at the hotel. This hotel visit was the most ridiculous hotel visit we’ve ever experienced. In short: worthless People from the bar nearby told us that this happened regularly. Once they were even on holiday leaving a group of paid guests from a wedding standing outside at the door. Please remove this hotel from your booking list. Our worst experience ever. Thank you, Gerard der Kinderen

“not pleasant”
we waited outside in the heat for 90 mins as we did not have a code to get through the door. When someone di d come we were told that the code was on the key inside the hotel which didnt help us as we couldnt get in Breakfast was awful..the cheese was off and the rest looked unappetising so we paid 10 euros for a hot drink

“Suited our needs.”
A late-night arrival meant that we were only able to take in a little of the hotel and its facilities. Staff were friendly and accommodating, though language was a bit of a problem at times! It has a pleasant bar/ restaurant facility, free parking, always a bonus, and in good location to enjoy the local environment.
