“Convenient, clean and welcoming!”

The host, David, was very easy to get hold of and accommodating. He met us as we rolled up and showed us around the property pointing out all the necessary bits and pieces. He even kindly grabbed us some milk to use, as I didn’t have any. The access road although tight and rustic was easily navigated in a tall LWB transit van. The property itself was perfect for our needs, close to the main road but far enough away to feel secluded. It was presented clean and had more than enough heaters and electric blankets to ensure a warm stay.

The owner is very helpful, he met us out with a flashlight to come up the path, It is freezing in Nov for this part of France, we had a wood fireplace, and radiators to keep us warm. The kitchen did not have any heater.

This place has a great atmosphere, and the owner is incredibly kind. I highly recommend it.

It was very special in a quiet forest - our son loved the rustic style and loved the bed and the set up . It was great for our dogs to roam and we enjoyed the short stay a lot

Rustic, rural and (feels) remote. Just what we needed. Very relaxing stay with great hosts. The property had everything we needed for our two nights. Having the animals around was a bonus.

For us a great location just off the motorway. It was very quiet just what we wanted after a long drive.

Lovely rural setting. Charming, interesting, rustic, old-fashioned house, but with all mod-cons (air-con, fans, heating, microwave, oven, WiFi, netflix...). Definitely bohemian and a love-it/hate-it type of place. We loved it. David is very pleasant and helpful. Great proximity to motorway - you do hear it, but it didn't bother us at all. Nice walks through the forest directly from the house. Lots of animals on site (horses, dogs, cats, goats).

It was the most surprising, one-night ‘travel-through’ accommodation, we ever had so far through Booking.com over the last 10 years. An old DIY partly restored/renovated farm house in the middle of the woods, where actually a 4 x4 would be the most appropriate vehicle to reach the location. The farmhouse is furnished and provided with a rare mix of brocante which gives it a unique and bohemian atmosphere, but the place was very clean and everything functioned. We were welcomed by a most welcoming and friendly host, whose daughter owns the place. Very welcoming, he had lit the wood stove for us, as this is thé heating source of the farmhouse. We had a very cosy night in front of the stove, slept well and have something to tell our children and friends back home!
