Over the years, I have stayed in many different places around the world, I have been working in the tourism industry for more than 20 years. Some travelers look for luxury suites and designer hotels. Personally, I have always been drawn to places with history, philosophy, soul, and traditions — and this is exactly that kind of place. From the very first moments, you realize that everything here is authentic. Life can be felt in every detail. This is not a museum exhibit, but rather a living theater where history continues to exist naturally and beautifully. Staying here feels like stepping into a nearly 200-year-old story, as if you were traveling in a time machine. The views of the mountains and Lake Como are absolutely breathtaking, especially in the early morning when the first rays of sunlight paint the landscape in soft golden colors. These are moments you simply never forget. At first glance, the rooms may seem ascetic to some guests. A creaking antique dresser or the absence of a television might surprise some people. But if you are looking not for standardized hotel luxury, but for a genuine experience and atmosphere — if you came to Como not for an Instagram photo, but for emotions and authenticity — then you are absolutely in the right place. Breakfast on the terrace is a special ritual and one of the warmest memories of our stay. We would especially like to mention the genuine care and warm hospitality of Signora Cinzia, as well as the wonderful Motti family, who run the albergo and Da Luciano - Bottega e Caffe'. Thank you for the unforgettable emotions, atmosphere, and memories that we will carry with us for a very long time.

The room is part of an old villa that is renovated with respect to history. The old meets the new in a very balanced way. Great lake view from the room and the terraces. And honestly one of the best breakfasts that i ever had. A place definately for people that want the extra experience.

Albergo Diffuso Ca’ Spiga is unique! Every room has a superb view over Lake Como. The hotel is in many respects like a living museum but suitably equipped with modern facilities - including a jacuzzi. Breakfast is served from 8am and eaten on the balcony also overlooking the lake.

We had a wonderful week at this place. The food was excellent and the whole team was incredibly warm and attentive. The location is perfect – right by the lake and still very peaceful. Our room with a private balcony and stunning lake view was an absolute highlight. We truly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back.

Good breakfast (especially the eggs), nice views from the terrace, owner Alessandro was very kind when we had a situation with another guest and a nice gesture for my mother on her birthday. Cleaner was very friendly and kept the place neat and tidy.

Het warme welkom door het personeel, de betrokkenheid en bereidheid om je te verwennen en te helpen met tips in de omgeving. De inrichting is italiaans retro klassiek en zo passend bij het huis. Er is zelfs een jacuzzi. Geweldig. Het ontbijt op het balkon maakte het helemaal af. Prachtig uitzicht over het Como meer. Cinzia is the best !

Alessandro was an amazing host. The breakfast spread every morning was an Italian dream. Eating it out on the terrace was just magical. They went above and beyond and the house was just full of history and charm! Highly recommend!
