Very simple and rural, but exactly what was advertised and what we were looking for ! The staff was incredibly friendly, and took care of us like we were old friends visiting for the holidays.

Convenient for the bike path, friendly hosts, excellent breakfast, a peaceful night with windows opening onto the big garden. I enjoyed drinks at the house bar in the evening.

Perfectly fine, nothing too flash! Lagarde is a very quiet and sleepy little village. I’d suggest taking some food (and drink) in case nothing is open (there’s not much there). the hotel owners were very friendly, and have a bar on site. Apparently they also do breakfast as well.

Extremely friendly welcome from the owner and his family. Peaceful rural setting in a lovely canal side village with a superb restaurant and good touring base for places along the Canal Marne au Rhin.

Very clean, quiet and comfortable hotel on the Moselle cycle way. Friendly and genuine hosts. Breakfast was excellent with great coffee and quality food.

The room was nice. it was an suite so that was good. Francis is the perfect host with her husband and Nova the dog. Breakfast was very generous and really good value for money. The host allowed me to secure my scooter in their workshop.

Received very friendly welcome. Always happy to help. Also had breakfast and dinner. The food was awesome. Lovely place to chill with a glass of wine at the end of the day as bar was just downstairs. Had our dog with us and although Coco was a little too energetic for Nova the family dog then she still allowed to be scratched and was lovely. Definitely a hidden gem and warmly recommend to everyone. We ended up staying two nights in this lovely location.
