Great place near Cahors .Spacious room with balcony , hot tub , pool, natural setting , great decor and large comfortable bed .Didier , host , cooked a memorable evening meal and the guests engaged in a very animated conversation . It was wonderful

Beautiful location, swimming pool and accommodation. The house is nice and cool, despite the heat wave. Very comfortable. Best of all was the food and host. We had a great stay.

Nice quiet location with easy parking. table d'hotes meal was very good ,with nice wines and great value! Very personable and helpful host .Room was a good size with large balcony and bathroom! Swimming pool was a welcome relief from the heat ! Good breakfast. Would definitely stay again!

Very quiet, secluded location with many facilities on offer. The host was amazing, so friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. Thank you for providing us a map for our river holiday. The crepes were also very tasty (even the gluten free ones)

What a beautiful place to stay! We stayed for one night on our journey home and it was an amazing end to our holiday! The house, the outside area, the rooms, the fantastic meal cooked by Didier (enjoyed by all 5 of us!) everything was perfect! Thank you Didier for making us feel so welcome! Loved everything! From the communications with the host to the welcome, the ambiance, the luxurious room with bath and terrace, the outdoor spaces and gardens and delicious food.

This is the most wonderful haven in which to stay. The garden with 1000 plants and pool. The welcome from and kindness of Didier (the owner). The beautiful rooms and spaces. Then there is the food - a gastronomic delight every evening. To finish the evening star gazing under the darkest and brightest of skies.

Had a perfect one night stay. Settled in quickly and relaxed with a cup of tea. By time we had a rest it was time for dinner, which was delicious- probably the best we have had on this trip. Didier is friendly and unpretentious. He is knowledgeable about the wines (Malbec) we drank and helpful about the areas we were to visit. Very safe rural location so we only took in what we needed for overnight. Lovely room and comfortable bed.

“Fantastic stay in a beautiful property”

Your host, Didier, is probably the most friendly and informative people you will ever meet. You will receive a warm welcome and his knowledge, not only of the local area but also its history, is formidable. He is very modest about it but he is also a wonderful cook so if you are given the opportunity to have a meal at the property do yourselves a favour and say yes, and I promise you will not be disappointed. The property is large open plan and you feel comfortable as soon as you walk in. We stayed in a first floor room with a balcony which enjoyed views for miles around of the beautiful countryside. The bed was very comfortable and thanks to electronic blackout blinds we slept very well. The outside space has decking around a small pool and is very well organised for lazing away a hot summers day. Cahors is approximately 12 Km away and the property is also ideally placed for touring the beautiful Lot Valley. I would definitely recommend this property and I look forward to staying there again when I am in the area.

“Unexpected sophistication in rural France”

The guest house is like a Sunday Times feature. Beautiful house, tastefully furnished. The owner must have trained as a chef. The food was Four star restaurant gourmet cooking. Very service-minded patron. Probably too good for pilgrims on the Chenin de Saint Jacques unless they want to spoil themselves with luxury and great food and wine.

What a beautiful property! And a fantastic host. Thank you Didier From the moment of our arrival we were made to feel so welcome. Homemade tea and cake! A fab swim in his beautiful pool and a chat with other guests in the hot tub. The garden is designed so beautifully so that guests can have their own space. Our room had a lovely terrace as well Then a superb meal cooked by our host and shared with the other delightful guests! What an amazing place Thank you Didier

A beautiful house, modern design with a light and airy feel. It is in a lovely setting and very tranquil. We had a spacious bedroom with terrace and our bathroom was large with a good walk-in shower. Lots of comfortable sitting areas, both indoors and outside. Small pool but very clean and very refreshing after a long drive. A big plus to see there is a shower next to the pool as well! There's also a hot tub available. Didier, the owner, is an extremely hospitable host. He is also an excellent cook and we had a delicious three course evening meal outside by the pool. Great fresh coffee in the morning at breakfast with tasty home made jams and stacks of pancakes!
