“An excellent stay”

A good French breakfast with plenty of fresh bread and croissants, orange juice, very good coffee and jam. A beautiful location. And hosts especially attentive to our wishes.

Overall we were happy with the location and was surprised by the high quality of the rooms. The bathrooms were fantastic and of a high standard. The evening meal though rustic was delicious.

Dinner was a set meal with no choice, at least we weren't given a choice. As it turned out we had potatoes with melted local cheese and lardons and a plate of salad along with a bottle of the local rose. It was absolutely superb!!

Fantastic service with such wonderfully lovely people running it. Fantastic breakfast and a comfortable room in a stunning location. And all for a very good price. The breakfast was lovely as well and the children really enjoyed the table football! We did not have diner here because the children are so fussy but it looked really nice and the children enjoyed a delicious waffle!

Very quiet mountain location. Newly refurbished auberge in a modern fashion. Comfortable if minimalist rooms. Clean and tidy. Very wood-orientated. Simple but very adequate dinner and breakfast.

“A very pleasant overnight stay.”

Stayed overnight with a group of friends on a short tour through France on our motorcycles. Our rooms were newly renovated, clean, tidy and comfortable with all the facilities one would expect. Our evening meal and breakfast were hearty and good. We arrived having ridden through the most torrential thunderstorm.. and were soaking wet.. but we received a warm welcome all the same. The Auberge is in a small village in a beautiful rural setting.

The friendliness of the hosts. We were made to feel part of the community. Good basic food. Accommodation spotless, met all our needs. We would stay again if ever in that area. Excellent value for money. Thank you Norbert et Mylene Ravet.

The hotel is in a stunning location - pretty remote, takes a while to drive to. It's in a small village - just a few other houses there, so book an evening meal as other restaurants will take a while to drive to. We were able to book a table as soon as we arrived but the hotel wasn't busy at the time. The evening meal (set - no options) was traditional French, lots of it and very tasty! Our double room was very clean and modern - the bed was very comfortable. The kids' triple room looked like it had been recently renovated, so again very clean and modern. Breakfast was traditional French - baguettes, croissants, jams, coffee. The host spoke little English but we got by - she was very pleasant. There's a pool table. We would stay here again! Ideal location for walkers, mountain bikers, etc - people who love the outdoors!

We stayed one night on our way down to the south. Incredible location, tasteful restoration of the property and amazing rustic French food for dinner. The hosts were helpful and we hope to return one day.

Room was modern designed and very clean. Decoration made us feel relax and in comfort. Inside/outside atmosphere was very nice. Definitely will prefer there in our future vacations.

Breakfast was included in the room rate and was lovely. Coffee superb. Location was beautiful right by a church in a small village of stone buildings. Did not want to leave !

L’auberge De La Source is a little gem situated in a stunning location. The owners have renovated the premises to a high standard. The rooms (with large en-suites) are modern and very tastefully decorated. A terrace at the back is a great place to lounge with a beer or take coffee after breakfast. A fabulous evening meal (set menu) was had and breakfast was more than sufficient. All prepared and presented by the very pleasant owners. It truly deserves top marks and can highly recommend a stay when touring in this gorgeous part of the Loire.
