The staff were incredibly friendly. We chose the room without aircon and he got us an extra fan without us asking which we really appreciated. He was also there ready for our 6am arrival! There is also sufficient kitchen facilities to make food too which was helpful. I would recommend the rooms with the aircon as it gets SO hot in La Union

I hardly ever write reviews anymore, but in this case, I can't help myself. Unfortunately, we only stayed in La Union for one night, but the stay was truly perfect. We were able to use the kitchen, had plenty of storage space in the room, and I liked that it was very centrally located, with lots of space and privacy. It's decorated really cutely with fairy lights. But the best thing for us was that Marvin is extremely friendly and helpful. We had a few problems with our credit card and didn't know how to book or get to the boat to Nicaragua, and Marvin took care of everything for us from start to finish, making several phone calls and solving all our problems despite the language barrier. We even got free water and were allowed to use his guitar. We can ONLY recommend this homestay and would come back again and again! THANK YOU for everything!

“Missing window, more garage style”

The owner was really friendly and gave us some recommendations. The location is quite central in La Union, only a few meters to the Golf and plenty of food options close by. The bathroom had everything needed.

Property is clean and has all the basics you need. Bed was very comfy and shower had a good pressure. Owner is very friendly and helpful.

The room was basic and close to the ferry so convenient. The staff were helpful and gave me cold water when I arrived.

Very good Value in comparison to other places and it was clean and in a great location. There is a kitchen you can use as well which was good for us.

The location is good, close to the centre, good food and the port. The bed is really comfortable.

Good location in La Union. Basic but has what we needed for one night.

No breakfast or fridge. Bed was comfortable and clean. No English. No window. Nice shower. Air conditioning good.

“Bit overpriced, strange vibe but okay overall”

It was a little expensive for what you got, but the a/c was a must in La Union and the room was fine and clean. One member of staff was particularly kind in cleaning our room for us so that we could check in early. However, there was some unnerving behaviour at night from either another guest or a member of staff - it was not made clear who by the hotel - which affected our stay and our ease in the property. May have been a one-off but the hotel’s handling of the situation was a little strange.

“An ideal place to stay for a quick visit to La Union, perfect for backpackers”

The place is ideal and good value for a quick visit to La Union. It certainly isn’t the nicest place but is in a great location, comfortable beds, good wifi and the staff are very nice! All at a very reasonable price. Ticks the boxes for what we needed before our boat trip. They also let us store our luggage there in the day
