It was fine, it was very basic.

The owners were friendly. The room was small but adequate for a night's stay before catching the ferry to Nicaragua. The ferry was less than 10 mins walk away (6 actually) which is handy for the early start. The room was very clean. There is a shared kitchen that you can use with burners and a fridge. Nearby is a market and a supermarket. WiFi was good.

Location not too bad, although have to walk through a market which at night is closed and slightly unnerving. Rooms clean enough and fan provided, ensuite.

As this is a budget hotel, one can not be too harsh in their criticism of any amenities or there lack of. The room was adequate, sizeable for us and the private bathroom did not disappoint in its functionality or decorum. The toilet flushed and the shower sprayed - no complaints. The kitchen had the microwave we so required. Again, it was a minimalist no-frills arrangement but fitting for the price. The staff exhibited an adequate level of bonhomie, expected from a hotel where clientele are likely to rest their heads for a solitary night before departing across the frontier.

The location is convenient to get to the port in the morning.

“Nice stay in a simple place”

Fantastic location before getting boat to Nicaragua the next morning. Simple but nice enough room. Bathroom was clean and modern with a relatively powerful shower! We slept very well.

Good location, nice staff

Needed a place to stay ready for the ferry at 7am the next day. This was perfect. Clean and functional. Safe and secure. Helpful staff. Central location so easy to explore this simple town. Migration Office meeting point was a short downhill walk from hotel.

Good location, clean and comfortable. The host family are very nice and accommodating. Allowed us to leave our large bags whilst we took the sunrise camping on the volcano.

The host was welcoming, location is great for central things in La union. I stayed the night before an early boat to Nicaragua and this was perfect. I had an aircon room which was much appreciated in the heat so glad I chose this. Bathroom was new and clean.

-Good value for money, stayed in a private room with private bathroom for the price I was paying in some other cities in El Salvador to stay in a dorm -Clean -comfortable beds -middle of the centre of la union -didn’t pay extra for a/c but had a fan above my bed and for me it was fine -quiet & calm
