Great location for exploring the area. Fantastic guest room tastefully furnished and lots of attention to detail. Lovely breakfast room. Beautiful private courtyard garden with various seating areas to chill and eat and drink in the evening after a long day of sightseeing.

We loved every aspect of our stay at Le Patio. Hosts Nicky & Paul were attentive, informative and very wecoming. Our room was comfortable, spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated, as was the rest of Le Patio. Our continental breakfasts were delicious and included a wide range of options - fruit/homemade yoghurt, muesli, homemade jams with croissants and pastries fresh from the local boulangerie. We booked dinner at Le Patio on 2 nights which were delicious and of a really high standard. Nicky and Paul gave us lots of great information and advice on where to go and every place was a just as described. They even booked us a table at a great restaurant- Le Petit Couture and Nicky very kindly gave us a lift there and back! We felt as though we had been on holiday with family. Thank you 🙏

The breakfast was lovely and served in a dining room with the other guests which was a nice start to the day. The hosts had thought of everything and supplied lots of special touches.

If we could rate this property 14 out of 10, we would. we loved every second of our stay, the hosts, accommodation, breakfast and evening meals were superb. First impressions when we saw our room was, we never want to leave. Paul and Nicky have done a superb job in every way, the outside eating and drinking areas were also really pretty. well done guys, a beautiful b & b. Lovely B&B, very welcoming and comfortable. Room was beautiful with a fabulous bathroom. Breakfast was excellent with everything you need. Hosts couldn’t do enough for us which was much appreciated. Lovely garden to sit out in of a night in any weather as had a great canopy protecting us from the odd shower. Hosts offered us an evening meal option, which we thoroughly enjoyed and they joined us to eat along with other guests. Lovely evening making memories in our favourite place. We will definitely be back. Thank you Nicky and Paul for all your fabulous hospitality, advice and top tips. 😊

“Marvellous”

Our stay at Le Patio was wonderful. Having worked in the deluxe five-star hotel industry we looked for flaws and couldn’t find any. On the contrary; every possible need is thought of with amazing attention to detail. The bedrooms and all other areas are immaculate and spacious, beautifully and comfortably furnished, including the peaceful rear patio where we enjoyed delicious two course dinners with wine. The breakfasts were plenty and yummy; fresh bread and viennoiseries, topped off with local fruits, home-made jams and honey, cheeses, yoghurt and cereals, fresh eggs. Nicky and Paul gave us very good advice about the regional highlights of our interest and how to get there. They are exceptionally welcoming, extremely attentive and genuinely caring; the perfect hosts who made us feel at home!

Everything was superb! From the minute we arrived we were made welcome and no request was too much trouble. Our room was beautiful and very well equipped. We arrived on a cold, wet January evening but the house was warm and comfortable. The food was fabulous! I can't recommend this little B&B highly enough, we can't wait to go back!

Nicky and Paul went out of their way to ensure our comfort and enjoyment. The accommodation is absolutely stunning, spacious and light, with lovely finishing touches. The village is perfectly located to visit all the beautiful sights and towns around with free parking just on the doorstep (literally!). Breakfast is delicious and so too the Table d'hote. Nicky recommended a fabulous night market at the local chateau and provided us with a bag full of everything we needed right down to a tablecloth and cushions. I can't recommend it highly enough and if you are fortunate enough to have 'clicked' this in your search and they have availability don't hesitate to book!

We loved everything about this B&B! We have stayed at many B&B’s before and we travel a lot all over the world. Paul and Nicky’s hospitality exceeded our expectations by far. Everything was perfect. They are the kindest, most welcoming hosts. We had booked dinner with them a few nights, the food was delicious, the wine was beautiful. The property is located in the middle of a small (quiet) village with easy access to surrounding villages. A great base! Our room was huge, comfortable and clean, great bed, great shower and bathroom facilities and excellent wifi. Attention to detail in every aspect of our stay! Everything was thought of carefully. Thank you to to Nicky and Paul for a fantastic stay!

“A perfect B&B in the Dordogne.”

We loved everything about The Patio which is simply the best Bed and Breakfast we have stayed in. Nicki and Paul (and their 3 cats|) ,are wonderful hosts and go the extra mile to make sure your stay is as enjoyable and trouble free as possible. The place itself is immaculate with a beautiful walled garden and terrace which provides a great place in which to relax and have a drink in the evening. Set in the village of La Tour Blanche, it provides a comfortable and welcoming base from which to explore this area of the Dordogne. There is adequate car parking immediately outside the premises. Our bedroom overlooking the garden was quiet, of a good size, with plenty of storage and power points. There is a huge ensuite bathroom with a modern shower, which is well stocked with good quality towels and toiletries.Breakfast at the Patio was very good indeed, with a wide choice of cereals, fresh fruit, breads, home made preserves and yogurt, all beautifully presented. We also enjoyed a delicious evening meal, with wine, cooked by Paul, after a long day sight seeing. Nicki and Paul have really thought through what makes for a great visitor experience and we highly recommend The Patio.
