Guisy is a gem! She welcomed us with open arms, and farewelled us with warm pastries and focaccia. Excellent location a few minutes from train station to access Cinque Terre and easy walk to restaurants on main street. Room are extra large, 2 balconies. Well stocked kitchen with herbs and spices to use. Coffee making machine. Felt welcomed like family. Has lift in building.

A lovely apartment in a great location. Just 3 mins walk from the train station. The lovely host was amazing. Very helpful. We accidentally broke the shower head and she fixed it while we were out and didn’t want any money. She brought us homemade Croissants and other treats on our final morning.

Lovely charming lady owner..felt more like living in my home than in a holiday apartment. Two balcony's were a big bonus....ideally close to rail station...for arrival and access to Cinque Terre . . close to town centre facilities... Just a lovely comfortable apartment.

Fantastic host, Guisy. She couldn't have been more helpful. The accommodation is very big. There are two large bedrooms each with three beds and space for a travel cot. Two balconies. Great for families. Guisy brought lovely treats for us.

Our stay at La Maison des Caprices was truly enjoyable, thanks to Giusy’s wonderful hospitality. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel welcome and was always available whenever we needed anything. Her quick responses and helpful advice on places to visit made our trip even better.

“Amazing property, well situated for the train station, shops and restaurants”

The host met me at the property, showed me how to use everything, and gave me lots of information about the area. She was extremely helpful and was always available to answer any questions, even brought me breakfast, she couldn't have been any more helpful. The apartment was amazing and had everything you could need. I was a bit concerned that I wouldn't sleep being so close to the train station but it wasn't an issue at all and I slept really well as the bed was so comfortable. Being so close to the station it is ideal for visits to Cinque Terre, Pisa, Livorno etc and there is a bus to Portovenere and Lerici. There is a small supermarket just a couple of minutes walk and the apartment is just 5 minutes from the Main Street where there are lots of shops and restaurants. I would highly recommend this apartment and will hopefully return soon.

Very well equipped apartment. We had a lovely welcome from the host, all the little extras were very much appreciated. The location is good. Everything was very clean . Would definitely recommend.

“Great apartment for families”

The host was super friendly, answered all our questions, brought us breakfast on the last day and let us stay later on the checkout day, for free. The house had everything we needed and was very spacious - we came with a baby, and had a baby cot prepared for us. The apartment is located 3 minutes walk from the central train station, that we used every day to get to the Cinque Terre villages. It is also at the end of the main street with many restaurants and shops.

Giusy was an amazing host, who met us at the apartment when we arrived. She gave us great advice on where to go and what to do in La Spezia. The welcome limoncello was a lovely touch as was the beautiful breakfast the morning we checked out. Giusy was attentive to our messages ahead of and during our stay. The location of this spacious apartment is perfect, less than a five minute walk to the train station, for access to the Cinque Terre. Could not recommend this apartment highly enough.

Location was great, close to the center and railway station. The host, Giusy, was the nicest and helpful. The beds were cosy and the apartement is well isolated and quiet.

Very spacious and comfortable apartment. Every room is a decent size. Kitchen well equipped. Really lovely host - we appreciated the wine and limoncello, and all the maps and leaflets available. The elevator is really handy if you have a heavy bag. Great location, three or four minutes from the station. La Spezia is a great choice if you are visiting Cinque Terre - it has all you need but without the crowds and touristy hype of the five villages. There are frequent, cheap trains that can take you anywhere in Cinque Terre in just a few minutes. If we return to this area of Italy this apartment will be our first choice.
