Very welcoming hosts & we booked dinner which was delicious

The hosts, Serge and Sara, we extremely welcoming and friendly. They were pleased to show us around their chateau with an informative and fascinating history of the building.. Evening meal comprised of local, tasty organic products, accompanied by local wines and beer. The beds were extremely comfortable. Ample parking for car and trailer with good access to the A20.

Lovely welcome in a house full of character. Really nice quiet spot but not far from motorways. Ideal for an overnight stop heading south or back to channel ports. But that is not really to do it justice as its worth more than one night in itself

Everything was perfect what a lovely place to stay, Sara and Serge are such a lovely couple who pride themselves on running a lovely chateau. I had dinner which Serge prepared using the best homegrown and fresh local ingredients and I must say was probably the best meal I have had in a long time. Will definitely be staying again.

Unique place and very friendly hosts. One of very few places in France where you can speak english. The castle has a very interesting story and all the surrounding are beautiful. It was a great experiance. Thanks you Serge and Sara!

Really interesting building with owner Serge, keen to share it's history. Very comfortable room and bed. Excellent meal cooked by Serge and served by Sara, including a vegetarian option. Great, friendly company. Breakfast equally as good. Wonderful, quiet location just off the autoroute. Would definitely stay again.

The property let itself down by its external appearance particularly around the main entrance. Internally it’s interesting with distinctive architectural features.

Serge & Sara were so welcoming. Chateau Lezat had been recommended by my family, and it did not disappoint. We had a wonderful stay. Serge is passionate about cooking, and it shows! Wonderful food. Sara and Serge could not have made our stay anymore enjoyable. We would highly recommend staying here.

Serge and Sarah are very nice hosts; comfortable room; excellent breakfast; quiet and restful location; the chateau is charmingly and painstakingly restored and decorated; would certainly stay here again.

We felt like valued guests in a family house - Serge and Sarah made us feel really welcome. The house is amazing and its history fascinating. Dinner was great with Serge making a special effort to cater for our dietary requirements.

The hosts Sarah and Serge are fabulous lovely people. The food was delicious and all cooked fresh with produce from their garden. Very good value dinner and I would highly recommend people stay for the meal. The Chateau is in a very quiet village with not much around but ideal for some peace and tranquility. We would definitely stay again if we were going that way.

“Lovely hosts, charming property, handy location; what’s not to like?”

This was our second visit to the Chateau and it was good to meet Serge and Sara again. Serge is an accomplished cook and the evening meal was simply superb and enjoyed around a large table in the company of several other guests. The meal and the convivial atmosphere more than made up for any minor deficiencies that are almost inevitable in an old building.

Wonderful family run chambre d’hote and table d’hote. Fun to chat with other guests at dinner! Beautifully restored 1900s building with very welcoming hosts.

Our second visit with Sara and Serge was as good as the first. Superb hosts, fantastic building in beautiful countryside, comfortable accommodation, home cooked food made with local ingredients. Can't fault anything about it. Definitely be back (we'll try not to leave it 6 years this time!).
