“Charming place to stay near Monet's garden, has a grand chateau on the doorstep and a beer cave!”
Loved the location on the banks of the river with free car parking immediately opposite. We stayed here to be near Giverny for Monet's house, so we were very pleased to discover the Chateau de la Roche-Guyon on our doorstep, especially with its Monuments Men exhibition (Aug 2024). Wish we had more time to also go swimming in the river half an hour away. The hotel is a typical French Logis with charm and the restaurant is popular with the locals. It had all the necessities and was comfortable, with a standard breakfast. No bar per se but do take a walk and visit La Grotte a Bieres if it is open.

The location was amazing. The view onto the river from my window was just like a movie scene. The service was very friendly and all the staff tried their best to accommodate in English. While my husband could have eaten more than just a croissant for breakfast, it was very fresh and tasty.

Fantastic location right next to the river with views from the room. Chateau nearby well worth a visit as are the gardens - easy to get to Giverny as well . Good evening meal in restaurant , breakfast was basic but fine Excellent service from staff
