Great location and a very pleasant stay. Very traditional hotel, not for those with challenging mobility (tall narrow staircases and many floors!) that said, perfect for my needs.

It is quite fair according to the info. There is a shower and a sink inside the room but the toilet is shared. There was no one at the check in, howerver they sent a message with a code to open the door and all the info so it was perfect. Breakfast was good. The building is old but very stylish. You feel like you are back in the past without losing so much comfort. I would come back.

The hotel was situated in a great place, close to the center of the town, and a solid place for hiking. The breakfast provided was phenomenal, the owner was friendly and the hotel had a cosy vibe. The room we stayed in had a nice log cabin style decoration to it, and it was mostly comfortable and cozy.

A delightful stay in a lovely, old worldly hotel, felt like we had gone back 50 years, don't expect modern furnishings which would spoil the ambience. The dated room and ensuite worked well for us for our 3 night stay. We were very pleasantly surprised with the delicious breakfast array. If wifi is essential to you, be aware the free wifi is rather patchy. It is an easy stroll to the local eateries and castle. Off street parking was a bonus.

“A good option for a short stay in La Roche.”
The breakfast was good, there was everything your heart desires, besides cerials there were eggs, cold cuts, cheese, enough rolls and bread, jam and nut nougat cream. The car park is right outside the front door and is free of charge. The location is very convenient for a short visit to La Roche.
