“Romantic area and relaxing atmosphere”

We really enjoyed the location. There’s a lot of nature around and the town itself remains untouched from the past, but at the same time perfectly maintained. The room was perfectly clean and beautifully decorated. We are strongly oriented by cleanliness so this definitely satisfies our standards. The breakfast ran smoothly and we got our fill. It had everything you needed. On top of that, there is a local attached to the building with great food and drinks. The activities stopped before bedtime so we slept very well. The hosts were great, I really enjoyed our interactions. We are certainly coming back for a longer stay.

The actual property looks better than the photos and the photos look good. The staff are very kind and helpful and the whole property is very clean and beautifully decorated. It is extremely good value for money and La Petite Pierre is a beautiful village. We can wait to come back!

We had a fantastic stay at this gîte in the old part of La Petite Pierre, right next to the château. The hosts were kind and welcoming, and the breakfast was excellent, especially the homemade marmalade. The room was spotless, and the shared kitchen had everything we needed to prepare dinner or snacks. A great choice for a comfortable and convenient stay in this charming village!

Lovely rooms- just renovated. A great common room and fun touches like the “babyfoot” ( or football table ). A delicious and opulent breakfast with home made jams awaits you in the morning in the restaurant room.

“Very nice hotel and location”

The owner is very pleasant, everything is run smoothly. Beside the hotel is a restaurant from one side and beer garden from the otherside, so you can eat confortably. The room itself was quiet. The location is excellent, it is very small pitoresque town with a castle few metres from the hotel. Exterier of the castle is accesible freely and so do the ancient walls nearby.

The restaurant and hotel, run by this amazing couple, just exude dedication to making their guests feel at home. Our experience was beyond splendid, not just because of the fantastic food and hospitality, but also because of their warm personalities. We couldn't resist indulging in their weekend menu, originally planning for just one night. But it was so darn good that we found ourselves craving another round. Thanks to Estelle, who worked her magic to squeeze us in for another delightful meal. Choosing your place was the best decision, and you can bet we'll be back real soon for more of your wonderful hospitality! Thanks Estelle and Frédéric!

“A cozy retreat, perfect for families.”

We adore this Gite. The location is stunning - right in the old town of La Petite-Pierre (which is gorgeous). The rooms are well decorated and the beds are super comfy. We've stayed three times now (we use it as an overnight stop when visiting family in France) and we usually take a triple room as this is a suitable size for two adults and a baby. The owners are really helpful and kind and, in our experience, are quick to respond to messages and offer support when things go wrong (we had a mix-up with our Booking.com booking one time and Estelle very quickly helped us resolve everything). The breakfast is humble but delicious. What we love most about the property is the communal shared kitchen and dining area. It is perfect for us as a family as it means we can easily feed both ourselves and the baby and not have to depend on restaurants for evening meals. Plus, we can put the baby to bed and return downstairs (with the baby monitor, of course!) to enjoy a glass of wine and some card games while she sleeps. Saves us having to go to bed at 7pm or tiptoe around the room so as not to wake her! In the summer months the Biergarten is a definite plus (the food is lovely and the staff are great). There is also a large play-area at the top of the old town (a minute's walk from the Gite) that is perfect for allowing little ones some space to play before/after a long day of driving.
