True to its name, La Clairière is nestled in a clearing near the edge of the forest. The contemporary design of the building perfectly complements the peace and tranquility of the location. Open your bedroom window and inhale the woody fragrance of the forest and the pure mountain air, bursting with oxygen. Our rooms fall into three categories: CLASSIQUE, CONFORT and SUPERIEURE. The interior design was inspired by the natural surroundings. It plays on the natural beauty of wood, reflecting the tones and hues of the forest. For nights of peaceful slumber, all our beds have natural latex mattresses and bed linen made from organic wool and cotton. All rooms are equipped with shower, WC, hairdryer, air-conditionning, bathrobes and bath towels, complimentary slippers, shampoo and shower gel, Grander drinking water, kettle and organic herbal tea, minibar, safe, flat-screen TV, digital terrestrial television reception, telephone and free Internet access (wired in room; WIFI in communal areas). At La Clairière, we believe that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Breakfast includes a selection of fresh fruits and fruit juice, a selection of freshly baked breads, cheeses from the Alsace region, cereals, egg specialities, crèpes, homemade cakes and granola and many other surprises. La Clairière offers free access to type 2 universal charging stations for electric cars during your stay.

“Relaxing pool and sauna stay”
Far into a forest, feels relaxing. Outdoor pool and indoor pool. A few saunas. There weren’t many people when we stayed there which was nice.

Location and rural environment, breakfast, large free parking on site, comfortable room once we asked to be moved, facilities - spa, swimming pool, helpful staff. Good food.

We loved everything. For a last night of a 3 week road trip, it was excellent. The pool was great. The restaurant was really cute, no great choice of meal but it seemed healthy and freshly cooked.

“Reviving memories in a nice, quiet, relaxing space.”
Apart from this hotel being history-loaded for my wife and me (here we got together during a company retreat/training over 20 years ago), the proximity to all the nice cities of Alsace, while being totally silent is just great. Breakfast is really nice, too.
