“A comfortable budget hotel with caveats”
The flat was a functional base for a week in La Paz. The owner showed adequate attention and help as I had arrived exhausted and travel stained due to the night bus. There was some confusion around leaving my bags before check in but the owner found a suitable solution. The flat was well sized and the amenities were in an acceptable state. The location was close enough to the tourist areas but I suspect a cumbersome American would struggle up some of the hills.

Very comfortable and super comfortable bed as well. The floor was dirty but apart from that very clean apartment. Great location close to the main tourist spots in the area but just far enough that it had a local atmosphere with great authentic food and markets to be found. We were able to check in early and Marlene the host was very kind and helpful.

“It's a great option for solo travelers or young couples who prefer to have there own apartment”
The host Marlene is super helpful, it felt like I was staying at one of my family member apartment and somebody was always there if I needed some help or I had a question. I was visited La Paz in December, the room was warm and cozy, hot water any time of the day. Small kitchenette with all the basics, you can also find restaurants, stores just steps away and open markets are all around the apartment. Actually it feels that you are staying in the middle of a giant street market. Downtown and all the main attractions are walking distance, 15 -35 minutes so I never had to take public transportation. No charge for towels or linen, even it is listed on the apartment description. Check in/out, payment was easy and smooth.

“Would stay again. But lots of light entering the room after sunrise.”
Comfortable spacious bed. Clean. Hot shower. Basic equipment to cook was enough.
