Very comfortable and helpful hosts

Really nice hostel, cute small and honestly the nicest hostel staff I’ve ever met!! They will help you with anything, will always be patient and make you feel very very welcome. You can tell they put lots of effort in the hostel with many cute details. Also the most easygoing hostel ever. The place was booked out for some nights I stayed there so they allowed me to sleep at a convertible couch for a couple of nights for very cheap:) Thank u for everything!!

As everyone noted, the staff are awesome! 6 minute walk from the bus station, no need for an uber so please walk. Plenty stores and food a few minutes walk. Beautiful views from the rooftop. The staff help with everything with so much kindness and understanding. Called me a taxi and put up with me and the person with me. Super safe area.

Very Sweet Hosts and good Storage for luggage

Water and other snacks were available to buy, and the place offers tours around the area, which is helpful if you need firsthand information about activities. I also booked a car ride with them to the airport at a good price.

“Homely hostel but could use an upgrade”

This hostel feels like a home, there is a living room to chill in, well equipped kitchen and the rooms are all 4 bed dorms (and 1 private room). The rooms terrace is nice to chill on too. Staff are super helpful and will exchange money to Bolivianos for a fair rate.

I had a great stay in La Casa Bonita! Hostel is well meintened, with cool social space, kitchen and even a small “shop” where you can buy snacks and beverages in good prices. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Oscar is a great guy, taking care of all guests in his place. Thank you! 😊

“Fabulous place to stay in La Paz”

Oscar is just an amazing host! He’s so helpful and friendly and made my stay in La Paz so easy. He speaks great English and provides you with lots of help with trips and suggestions of things to do. The hostel has a good kitchen, a comfy social area and a rooftop area. Also has a little shop for snacks, water etc which is super helpful. It’s really close to the bus terminal and only 15mins from the airport. It’s safe and secure. I would definitely stay here again.

This place really feels like home, a lot of space and the dorms are constructed really smart. Best thing is probably Oskar, he is there for you anytime and answers any question you may have.

Amazing place to stay in La Paz, Oscar the host is fantastic and super helpful in every aspect. He goes out his way to ensure you have everything you need, providing information about yours/transport, changing currency and sorting luggage whilst on tours. He even let us sleep downstairs when our night bus arrived super early! This place does feel like your own home, cooking facilities, cosy blankets on beds, and warm showers. Also has laundry at a fee

Great laid back hostel in La Paz. The owner Oscar was incredibly friendly and helpful with everything. The dorms were comfortable, there was a cosy lounge to chill and socialise with other travellers. Well equipped kitchen as well as a mini-shop to buy drinks and snacks. I would highly recommend staying here.

We absolutely loved our stay at La Casa Bonita. The entire property is extremely homely and comfortable, it has a full shared kitchen which is very hard to find in La Paz, and the rooftop has incredible views - perfect for chilling during the day! What really made our stay was how friendly, kind and extremely helpful the host, Oscar, was. He always greeted us with a smile, had great recommendations, helped us book in several activities and always was available to answer any questions we had. He is one of the best hosts we have had in our 5 months traveling around South America! Thank you so much! We hope to return to stay with you again sometime in the future and we highly recommend to everyone else to book their La Paz stay at La Casa Bonita!
