The view was amazing, the bathroom is perfect for cocooning, big and clean room with an amazing view on Teide mount. Terrace is perfect to have a drink at the sunset. The garden and the pool are beautiful

“Calm and peaceful piece of heaven”

Klaus was unable to meet us but left us detailed instructions to access the location. He had also left fresh bread, cheese and meat for us and fresh flowers. The location and view are spectacular - only downside is that you need a car to get there and it's quite out of the way. The apartment was spotless and the facilities fantastic. Everything you needed was there to stay put if you have your food shopping done.

It was a great stay. El Refugio is a fantastic place to go. Everything was perfect, Klaus has been very attentive to our wellness and needs. The sauna is in a perfect state as well as the swiming pool. Everything was clean and the view on the Océan just incredible. I would definitely book again this place if i go back to Ténérife

“Heaven”

Everything was beyond perfect! From the moment we arrived we felt ourselves relax into the tranquil surroundings. It's the perfect retreat. There are other guests staying but we really felt we had the place to ourselves it feels so private. We made full use of the gorgeous gardens, pool and sauna. Have to mention the wonderful klaus who was just so helpful, giving us lots of advice about the island and did anything he could to help us out. He really just made our stay. Thank you klaus !!

Perfect scenery, no noise from highway, great location, 15 minutes from Puerto de la Cruz and 20 min from the capital. Fully equipped, regular cleaning, great place to explore the island from, but also to stay chill and charge one’s batteries. Car is a must. Great host, with attention to details, welcome package in the fridge, a lot of recommendations of places to go and also helped with reservations for some.

“Couple, one week holiday, best spot on the island”

One of the best accommodation we have ever had. Accessible by car, it has great views, cozy rooms, amazing gardens, a pool & a sauna and a great host. Great restaurants in the area. Supermarket is 4 minutes away by car. You have everything you need in the kitchen to prepare your food (yes, there is no microwave, but we did not need it and I would not add it in that kitchen). Klaus is one of the best hosts we have ever had. Great talks, amazing recommendations, really nice, professional and helpful host. Location is very practical if you have a car. The weather is temperate, you can anytime decide to stay inhouse for the day, but you can also decide spontaneously to driver across the mountains, since almost everything is located from couple of minutes away to maximum 1-1,5 hours drive. We have already made plans to come back!

The location was absolutely stunning, the view from the window, the terrace, the gardens. Also the facilities(sauna and pool) and the staff were amazing, the apartament was spotless and very well equipped. The host is very friendly and ready to help with advices and recommendation. Excellent view on Teide, great service, suitable parking. Carefully choose an apartment because there are several options, and some don't have a tub, but the rest have big showers. They have enough toys for kids to play on a beach.

The views out to sea, the calm and the quiet of it all. The pool is lovely to use for a swim every day. And the welcome of wine and some cheese and bread! It was just perfect. It’s hard to describe in words the breathtaking view from the terrace, but the swimming pool, the sauna, the apartment, the kitchen are so wonderful assembled and everything it’s just more than you would expect. Klaus it’s just the perfect host. He helped us with hints for our journey and to discover the island from the perspective of a local native. He was kind enough to help us build out trip plan, and he even gave us a personal map of the most amazing places in Tenerife.
