“Cosy family stay in La Marsa”

The owners were an extremely sweet and welcoming couple, yet very private. They gave me a lot of tips about the area in advance. The house has a cosy patio and a lovely orange cat that likes to be caressed.

“Perfect”

The host family is incredibly kind and welcoming. On my first day, they patiently showed me around the property and explained how to use the keys and lock up. I only booked for two nights, and I already regret it—I wish I could have stayed longer! The room is nice and cool, and the location is unbeatable in this beautiful coastal town. There are amazing restaurants within a 10-minute walk. It was such a perfect experience; two days simply wasn't enough.

I had a wonderful stay at Marsa Guest House—the host was friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The beautiful garden, often visited by a cute - fat cat, was a lovely place to relax, and the rooftop offered a really nice view. The location is also perfect, with both the sea and beach within walking distance, as well as the city center, making it easy to explore everything nearby.

Host was great. Room had everything you need for a short stay.

Said and his wife were very accommodating, helpful and friendly. The location is central and close to the centre of Marsa, the TGM for Tunis, the coast and Sidi bou Said.

Said and his wife are truly wonderful hosts. We learned so much about Tunisia, discovered the richness of Tunisian cuisine, and had an unforgettable time. The house and garden are beautifully designed with great attention to detail and a lot of love. It is a real gem in La Marsa — the perfect place to explore the town, feel completely at ease, and enjoy a truly memorable stay. Thank you so much to both of you. We will definitely come back.

“The perfect guesthouse”

Said and Faten were the ultimate hosts - think more how AirBnB used to/should be than unintimate hotel booking. We arrived very late with no internet connection but thanks to Said's great instructions and prearrival WhatsApp communication we found the place with no problems and Said was there ready to welcome us. The terrace area was very private and perfect for a glass of wine at night, which Said made us feel very comfortable to do in his back garden! Simba the cat kept us company and the roof terrace was perfect for a morning tea. We stayed in the smaller, double room. It was everything we needed for two nights but keep in mind it is small, intimate and the bathroom delivers little privacy :) There is parking right outside the secure and locked front door and the little town is just a few minutes walk away with plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants near the beach. I recommend the 360 rooftop bar in La Marsa for drinks (only a couple of places in town sell alcohol) and Carthage for a day trip (St Louis Cathedral is stunning). We would absolute stay here again - many thanks to Said for the warm welcome to Tunisia :)

The owner waited for me when my flight was delayed in the middle of night, warm and friendly reception! The room was very big and decorated in beautiful Tunisian style. The guest house is centrally located in Al Marsa a few hundred meters from the Corniche and there is beach access right next to the guest house.

“Spacious apartment close to the beach, but without a private kitchen.”

The guesthouse is a located in a quiet and leafy residential area close to La Marsa beach. The apartment we stayed at was spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of storage space for longer stays. The outdoor sitting area/garden was lovely and the owners were friendly and allowed a very late check-in, which was much appreciated. The guesthouse is close to many cafes, restaurants and supermarkets (very handy, especially when visiting during Ramadan when most eateries are closed).

We enjoyed a lot our stay in this magnificient old house in the Marsa neighbourhood very well situated just close the sea shore. Said is amazingly welcoming and he gaved us great recommandations. The courtyard and the atmosphere of the house is very beautiful.
