Perfect hosts, very comfortable stay with fantastic showers for 3 weary cyclists. Excellent dinner and breakfast with other guests. The entente cordiale is alive and well.

It is a magnificent building.. so peaceful and beautifully renovated. Very large rooms . Wonderful showers ! Dinner on our arrival was delicious.. breakfast too was so fresh complete with home made jams and bread . Very welcoming hosts .

The Chambre d' hôtes is at the Loire on a lovely spot, really at the river. We loved the room, excellent beds and really quiet. The breakfast was the best we had for a very long time. Christiane is most charming and very helpful.

Such a relaxing place to stay. Christiane was such a lovely host who made us feel welcome in her beautiful property. The room was tastefully done, really clean and with a great shower and really comfortable bed, plus a lovely view of the river. As well as helping us with lots of advice about places to eat/ visit in the local area, the wonderful homemade breakfasts were perfect.

Lovely old property in a quiet setting by the Loire river. Room was large and well furnished, breakfast was lovely.

We loved our huge unique well designed room with comfy beds and a brilliant shower/bathroom. And the wonderful location. We loved the seating areas and our breakfast was delicious and generous. We were made very welcome

“Absolute pleasure”

The owners were very helpful and friendly. They gave us a lot of information and did everything to make out stay a pure pleasure. There is a private parking in their yard. The building is a charming classical architecture with a lot of wood stairs. Absolute joy and something you do not see every day. We got a lot of good suggestions for dinner in the area. The furniture and and the room were great. We had a good night rest. Breakfast was classical French. We loved it. We even got a few things for on the road as well! Thank you a lot.

Christiane was an excellent host. Showed us around, recommended restaurants and provided a lovely locally sourced home cooked breakfast. The property is very interesting with parts being and still to be renovated, and if it’s completed to the same level as the room we stayed in it will be beautiful.

A very nice location directly on the border of the Loire. Christiane was a perfect host and very friendly. We really enjoyed the dinners that we combined with our stay. In advance we could indicate our general preferences/allergies and the food was marvellous. The ingredients were all local and her husband was a really good chef and used original/classical recipes that are not common in restaurants anymore. Very easy reachable by the highway, but still a very rural character with ample space for parking.

Idyllic location directly on the Loire river in an old farm house. Hosts are very passionate and friendly. Spacious room with a fantastic new bathroom. Excellent breakfast with eggs, homemade jams and fruits! Parking onside.

Very interesting location. Just along the Loire river with a very nice path to walk along the river, accessible from the property. Warm welcome from the owners; nice facilities in a 5 hectare park. Great breakfast.

“Great accommodation next to La Charité-sur-Loire”

The property was recently refurbished, with 3 rooms in different styles. We were a large group renting all the three rooms and were all very happy with our accommodation. The owners were very friendly and welcoming, and even prepared cakes for us on our arrival. We had a fantastic breakfast in the morning and could walk along the river afterwards.

“relaxing, calm and close to Charité for dinner”

Quiet, tranquil and next to the Loire for an evening walk. Very close the the loire valley cycle route on the other bank. The owners were very welcoming and we immediately felt at home. The house is beautiful.
