“Great view!”

We felt very welcome and home! Got great recommendations of restaurants, hikes and beaches not exposed to the wind. Breakfast was very nice, every day a freshly baked cake was waiting for us.. with the nice view for breakfast a perfect start of the day.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The view from the balcony was impressive, the room was comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. La Maddalena is a lovely island and definitely worth a visit. We would return to B&B U Punenti and the helpful, friendly hostess, Daniela, without hesitation. We woke up each morning to homemade, freshly baked Sardinian pastries, such a treat. We received great tips for places to explore and where to go for good food. The accommodation is located on a hill in a residential part of town. We found walking to the center quite easy and left the car parked in the evenings. It's a ten minute walk down and fifteen minutes back. All in all a very positive experience.

“Incredible breakfast”

The hospitality was amazing. Daniela made us feel very welcome. She gave us a lot of information and was available for our questions. The room was clean and very comfortable. She even offered free to use umbrella for the beach. In the morning, the breakfast was fantastic! Daniela put so much effort in assembling a rich breakfast, consisting in many local and home-made pastries. We really enjoyed it from the shared balcony with beautiful view. We would definitely recommend staying here!

Where to start. My partner and I had an excellent stay at Daniela’s place. Our room had a breathtaking view and waking up to it every day was amazing! Even the view from the shower was incredible! The room was spacious, had all comforts and was spotlessly clean. Very comfy bed. Daniela is such a great host, she takes the time every morning to make recommendations about how to best spend the day depending on the weather, and makes amazing homemade jam that is available in the breakfast :) I am celiac, and a variety of gluten free products were provided for my breakfast. We could also borrow umbrella and cooler bag for the beach, which have been life savers! We will definitely be back to U Punenti for our next trip to La Maddalena!

Excellent location, fantastic view of the island from our bedroom and the terrace. Excellent host Daniella! Gave us great recommendations, was always contactable and made us feel comfortable and at home.

Daniela the host was very nice and helpful with advice about where to go and what to do. Breakfast was very special to have on the balcony overlooking the town and the sea with a nice selection of food.

Everything. The room was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated with ample storage. Daniela was a super host - so friendly and full of great information to make our trip the best. The breakfast was great, I was so impressed with the delicious cakes/ savoury bites that Daniela made daily. The views from the breakfast balcony were amazing. Access to a fridge/ freeze plus the water fountain was a great touch.

“The stay was almost perfect, if we were to return to La Maddalena we would not hesitate to come back”

The location was great, beyond our expectations. You are at 10min by walk from the city center. There is a public parking right next to the B&B where you can easily find a parking spot. Our room had a seaview, it was clean et well furnished. The bathroom was very confortable with a shower and a bidet. Breakfast is served until 10am every morning with a fresh pastry/cake each morning cooked by Daniela our host. It can be enjoyed indoors or on the terrace.

This property is fantastic. Brand new, very clean and the host Daniela went out of her way to make our stay as pleasant and fun as possible. This view is the best in la maddalena and so close the shops and then beaches. I could not recommend this place enough.

“The best B&B we've had the joy of experiencing”

Daniella is a fantastic host; she certainly keeps her guests well fed with a delicious homemade sweet treat every morning and a brilliant breakfast. The location is perfect, outside of the busier centre of the town but close enough to walk (10mins) and a convenient shop within 2 mins walking. We never had any issues with parking nearby and the room was very homely, nicely decorated, clean and of course the benefit of a balcony makes for a lovely spot to stay when in La Maddalena. Daniella made some fantastic recommendations, from her favourite pizza place and fish restaurant to a boat day trip of the islands which we’d highly recommend. Thanks for a fantastic stay, would return if ever back on the island.
