Excellent breakfast, fantastic location overlooking Laguna Apoya, short walk to beach and crystal clear waters. Very rustic, so bring everything you need. Very welcoming host who makes you feel at home! Lots of outdoor private and communal seating, in shade, and best of all, a beautiful stainless steel grill BBQ overlooking the lake.

Lovely setting, great staff, nice property. Good communal areas to hang out - 3 options from a terrace with table and chairs to a more comfy sofa and hammock area. Useful communal BBQ to cook on. Reachable with normal car. Close to a couple of trails for hiking. Nice to walk up one of the trails to the local village for a walk about and look at the view.

The best stay in Nicaragua! The casitas are located in an incredible villa, 1 minute walk to the shores of Laguna de Apoyo. Waking up to the sound of the birds, having a great breakfast (and the best coffee) with amazing views is hard to describe. Benjamin, the host, is friendly, accommodating and went above and beyond to make my stay unforgettable! The houses are spacious and clean and have everything you need. I cannot thank Casa Unica and Benjamin enough for an unforgettable stay!

The casita is well-equipped with a full kitchen, perfect for preparing your own meals, especially since restaurants in the area are scarce. The terrace is spacious and inviting, providing a wonderful space to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Every morning at 9 a.m., Martha serves a generous and delicious breakfast with a warm smile, adding to the experience. With its location just a minute from the lagoon and beach, Casa Unica offers a true escape and a chance to immerse yourself in nature. A truly magical place!

This was one of the best rental experiences we've ever had. The property was absolutely stunning and close to the magical Laguna de Apoyo. The casita was clean and comfortable, and the management was attentive and kind. The only problem was I wish we could have stayed for more than one night. I highly recommend this location and look forward to returning in the future.

A beautiful relaxing place to stay for the night! Our host Ben went out of his way to make us feel Like home! He arranged our taxi! Our food order for dinner to come to the casa And all in all an amazing and friendly host! The rooms are cozy and nice! The gardens are beautiful! And some nice spots to chill for the day…

“I want to go back!”

Casita café is beautiful with a small kitchen that had everything we needed. It was very quiet and we could only hear birds, trees and the sound of the lagoon. We had a pleasant night sitting on the deck and we watched a wonderful full moon that lightened the lagoon. I truly loved this place, I wish we had more time to stay another two nights. Benjamin is a great host, very responsive and was always available to reply to any of my questions. Miguel and Marta were also great and very polite. The dogs in the property are very friendly. The breakfast was delicious and the view was delightful.

I could not recommend Casa Única more! It was exactly what we were looking for - to get away from the hustle and bustle, to be in nature and just relax for two nights. The facilities are great! With a barbecue area, a large deck looking out onto the lake, hammocks, big couches, as well as a tube and canoe to take out onto the lake. Everything was super clean, we loved the dogs on the properly and the owner, Ben, was very inviting and friendly. Thank you for such an incredible stay!

“Perfect stay at Laguna de Apoyo”

Casa Única is an amazing place, really secluded and tranquil. The house and the property are new, modern and very well done by the owner. It is stylish and all the details are taken care of. Benjamin likes to show you around and tell you all about the plants in his garden and about the surroundings. He also recommended activities to us. There are kayaks available that you can take on the laguna, that was really great! We walked up the rim of the crater to San Juan de Oriente: sendero del Caballito, which was beautiful and at the top you have a view over the lake at Mirador Congo (they have great food as well!). Overall: we really loved our stay!
