Overview
La Girouardière is set just 6 km from La Flèche Zoo and a 10-minute walk from Monnerie Lake. It offers an outdoor swimming pool and a sauna. The rooms at La Girouardière have views of the garden, an LCD TV and free Wi-Fi access. Each one has been individually decorated and also features an en suite bathroom with bathrobes. You can enjoy homemade jam at breakfast, either in the dining room or on the terrace. The hosts can also prepare regional-style evening meals with home-grown vegetables, upon prior reservation. We enjoyed a lovely stay here. We were welcomed by the hosts and they were very friendly and helpful. Our room was very comfortable with a good bathroom. Breakfast was good. Beautiful garden. I enjoyed a pretty breakfast swim when the pool was kindly opened for me.

“Beautiful house and hosts”
Patrica and David were wonderful host, the garden is beautiful and lovely to sit out in the evening. We had our evening meal at the house which was lovely. Most of all our dog had great fun running around with their golden retriever! We only stayed in evening whilst travelling through France, but will certainly be back for a longer stay and some sightseeing.

“Very cozy place with a beautiful garden and pool.”
We really enjoyed our stay at La Girouardière. The room was spotlessly clean and well maintained. The host was extremely attentive. We were quite busy attending the motogp so couldn’t spend enough time enjoying the outdoor pool and garden, but it looked lovely. There is even a golden retriever for dog lovers, like us.

The owner was very helpful. She gave us some suggestions of where to eat for an evening meal. Breakfast in the morning was lovely- warm croissants and bread with homemade jams

“Friendly hosts, comfortable accommodation and delicious food.”
After a difficult journey through torrential rain, La Girouardière was an oasis. We sat in the shade in the lovely gardens enjoying a drink. We enjoyed a delicious evening meal with hosts and other guests then, next day, a generous breakfast sent us on our way rested and refreshed.
