Amazing place!!!!! Amazing town!!!

“Complete gem”

Our third visit to La Fontaine Racine. It’s a gem. Beautiful old house in a beautiful town. Geoffrey is a super host and exceptionally kind. We loved our dinner and breakfast in the garden - absolutely delicious. Lovely room, very comfortable bed. We hope to be back.

Everything was great! We arrived a little late but the rooms were ready for us and had everything we needed. A lovely old building with a modern finish in a great setting. Breakfast was lovely with a fire on to warm the room from the cold morning start!

A beautiful setting - a lovely building with lovely tasteful décor and glorious garden. Quite unexpected. One to note and visit again. Very pleasant owner. Could not have been more helpful and obliging. The addition of a splendid and reasonably priced table d'hôte made it even better

Absolutely beautiful 16th century house with tasteful and comfortable decoration. Beds were so comfortable. We had adjoining rooms with our daughter. The garden, which is right next to a small canal, is lovely. At Geoffrey’s suggestion, we bought food from the supermarket and had our supper sitting in the garden. He kindly provided plates and cutlery. We could have had dinner at the property had we ordered in advance - we will next time! The small town is pretty and good for a wander. Breakfast was delicious.

This place was such a wonderfully unexpected surprise. The garden is absolutely gorgeous as is the property. Geoffrey who runs the place was exceptionally kind, very responsive and provided helpful suggestions of what to visit in the surrounding area. He also cooked and served a lovely dinner. His place is a true find with a relaxing atmosphère. I would go back in a heartbeat.

This is a hidden gem, family-owned. The host is wonderful and very helpful. The room itself was very tasteful and grande, and the bed was super comfortable. The garden is nice and quiet where you can relax and enjoy a glass of wine (or dinner). We will definitely come back! Thanks again Geoffrey!
