This villa is ideally located near Union Estate Park and Anse Source d’Argent. Hannsa and Samantha are wonderful hosts who enhance the house year after year, ensuring your stay is memorable. The villa is very well maintained and impeccably clean, making it an obvious choice if you visit this beautiful island. This was our second consecutive stay, and it certainly won't be our last.

The accommodation is very clean, which is the number one priority for us when travelling. The air conditioning and fans worked well, which is essential in the Seychelles. Hannsa, our host, was pleasant.

“Big villa in perfect location”

The Villa is beautiful, with a big nice garden, porch and terrace on the first floor. The position is also perfect, close to the famous Anse Source D'Argent and away from the noisier main street. You need a bike to move around, like every other place in la Digue. Arranging bikes is not a problem in la Digue, you do not to do this in advance, nor you need to book a taxi. We rented good bikes at the ferry port upon arrival and they took our luggage to the villa for free. The villa is also very well equipped. Some food essential were provided (salt, sugar, water, oil, coconut water). Samantha and Hannse took good care of us, were always available and gave us useful suggestions/tips.

Really clean and well stocked villa. Lovely garden and a peaceful setting. Clear communication from the owner and house keeper. Fresh coconut and fruits were a lovely touch too.

“Good and quiet place close to most important places”

For us it was perfect location (~1,5 km from Anse d’Argent). same distance to the “big” shop. Lot of space and everything you need to cook at home. It would be great if owners could leave tea, coffee and oil that you don’t need to buy when you staying for 1-2 nights. But as I understand it’s not very comon in Seysheles.

“A great spot to relax, chill out in a very modern, comfortable house.”

The property was relatively far from La Passe, the main village on the island but, provided you can ride a bike everything becomes easily accessible. If you can’t ride a bike or if you don’t want to walk in the tropical heat, then your only option is to book or hail a local taxi. There are a small number of convenience stores within walking distance to the property. Anse Source d’argent and Union Estate are close by. The property is very well maintained, clean, air-conditioned, and very modern with TV sets in all the main rooms even though none of them actually worked, which is not so much what we came there for.

Hannsa the hostess was very kind and helpful, we loved the willingness through offering us some coconuts that she cut from the trees in our yard. Samantha helped us organise the transfer and bikes. They even set up our bed beautifully adding flowers and wine because we were celebrating a special occasion!

“Great Value for money and as close as you will get to Anse Source D'Argent”

Fantastic choice for our family of 6. We had excellent comms before arrival to ensure bikes were ready for us as we arrived (they were) and our transfers were arranged for us from the ferry (you can't walk with luggage - too far). Very happy with the property on arrival with a nice garden for the kids to play plus everything you need for a stay away from home. The Self-catering element was good for us as a family, with the daily trips to the supermarket on our bikes something of a daily highlight. Plenty of air-con which was welcome as La Digue seems to have its own micro-climate! The property is maybe 5-10 minutes on bike from the beginning of the main area of shops / restaurants but the main draw for us was the proximity to Anse Source D'Argent which could easily be walked to in less than 10 minutes. The property is also close to the superb beaches of Grande Anse & Anse Petite which are around a 20 minute cycle up and down hills! Our host Manuella couldn't do enough for us and was a great person to have available should we need to ask any questions. The property was also kept in spotless condition so many thanks for that.

We had an amazing stay in Garden Villas. It has a great location - close to the most beautiful beaches in the island. Manuela was a fantastic host and she helped us with every question or query we had. The house is huge with all the things you may need during the stay. Thank you so much for one of the best vacations we have ever had!
