We thought the accommodation was super and the owners took great pride in what they had achieved with the property and we were suitably impressed! The master bedroom certainly made a statement with space and comfort and the bed extremely spacious and comfortable . The induction hob was a first and we soon adapted to the cooking techniques required … surprisingly instant heat and control ( our gas cooking days will soon be gone! The gardens were well laid out and the view from the balcony area whilst basking in the evening sun was relaxing …. Cheers!

Great communication & lovely welcome & briefing from host BEAUTIFUL apartment, great size rooms, beautiful linen & furnishings well equipped etc etc etc The host even repaired my broken bike seat for me!! Lovely village & host told us about a bar /restaurant on riverfront with live music - very enjoyable

Very quiet neighbourhood, parking just off side of safe village road. Convenient area for Angers, Saumur, and general Loire exploration. We were greeted by our Host Lydia, who showed us around, and explained that all the work was done by Lionel and Lydia themselves. Now, let's get straight to the point: this is no ordinary Gite. Would not be surprised to see this property in 'Ideal Home' or some other 'Glossy' home magazine. Stunning attention to detail everywhere, stonework, woodwork, fittings - all high quality. Colour matching detail throughout, We suspect Lydia is an Interior Designer. Everything sparkling clean, ultra modern kitchen with cooker, hob, overhead filter (built into chimney reveal), fridge, dishwasher, coffee machine etc. Bedroom very comfortable, seating and dining area likewise. Bathroom, someone really blended the old-wth-the-new here! Rustic setting with super modern curved shower enclosure with Spa Shower. Not putting up any photos as i only took a video - anyway, go and see for yourselves! Cannot wait to return here. Thank you for the stay, and thank you for the lesson in true French 'Chic' .

It is very nice inside, good wifi, and plenty of spaces outside - both in shade and under the sun. My friend and I, we were working remotely from there, while our girls were staying in a language camp nearby.

Nice and cosy holiday home, with a great garden where you can relax. The apartment is very clean, the kitchen is equipped with the basic kitchen tools.

“Beautiful accommodation with a lovely host”

We loved our stay in Le Cosy, a very beautiful two bedroom accommodation. Every part of the apartment and the garden had clearly had so much thought out into it, it’s stunning. Great beds, well equipped kitchen and located in a very interesting part of France with so much to see and do nearby. Lionel and Lydia were excellent hosts. In particular, we are very grateful to Lionel for his help on the night our car broke down one evening 30 minutes drive away from the Gîte. Lionel got straight in his car and came to collect me and our two small children while my husband waited with the car for the breakdown service. I later learned that he actually left a restaurant where he was dining to come to help us! Lionel went so far above and beyond what you could expect from a host, but we are very grateful for how he made a stressful evening much easier. I highly recommend this accommodation. Thank you!

Lionel was a very kind and patient host, who went out of his way to check we were happy. The gite is a lovely farmhouse, the apartment within it was generously sized with its own outdoor area and beautifully decorated. We would very highly recommend this accommodation!

“Perfect in every way.”

Lionel & Lydia greeted us on arrival and from the first could not do enough for us. We stayed in "Le Cosy" and it certainly was. Squeaky clean, beautifully furnished and a fabulous place to spend our 10 days by the Loire. We had our own sun terrace and full use of a beautiful garden with plenty of sun and plenty of shade when we needed it. The mercury hit 39 whilst we were there so the latter much appreciated. Gîte was a short walk away from the river, a great boulangerie and a choice of 2 bar/restaurants - one "La Guinguette L'Embardée", was right on the river, had a lovely feel and run by a very personable young couple - well worth an hour or so of your stay. Bang on the EV6 so great cycling opportunities everywhere you look.
