“A lovely short stay at a wonderful place”

The Posada is in a beautiful location. The interior is so interesting, comfortable and just a pleasure to visit. The welcome from Rosa and her husband was very warm and friendly. Rosa is an excellent cook, food delicious. Thank you, I hope to visit again soon.

i was not expected the location to be this isolated but then after the finals curves of the road I saw it and it was perfect!teh guests were very kind to prepare the dinner for us even that we haven t answer to their messages foe reservation of the menu,food was perfect! The 2 huskies there are adorable! Then in the morning we saw opposite the villa some 30-40 deers running around,quite unexpected and nice.

“Isolated perfection in La Cueta”

Do you need to switch off and disconnect and just chill? Then stay here. It's simple it's perfect. The owners are amazing, and so are their huskies. The food is again simple, elegant, and perfect for an authentic stay in the mountains. Yes, it's isolated - that's great! No phone signal = lovely! Go for walks or head out in the car or on motorbikes 🏍 In winter, it's tricky to get to = great

A beautiful rustic old building in a very peaceful & isolated location. The staff were friendly & helpful. There is a set meal for dinner which was delicious. We really hope we'll be able to visit again.

“Lovely hosts”

The hosts were very kind and hospitable, and we felt welcome from the moment we arrived. There is a large lounge area downstairs that guests can use. The breakfast we had there was the best we had during our stay in Spain. It was very quiet at night.

Very quiet location, close to hiking trails, halfway in the valley towards the end at La Cueta. And good food and wine after coming back. Angel and Rosa are great hosts, recommended!

Stunning views. Lovely owners and their husky dogs. 1400 m of altitude means you are next to some of Spains nicest mountains. The meal they offered was gorgeous. Great night's sleep (super comfortable bed), me and my boyfriend slept like logs. The living room/communal area was lovely, a nice fire to read your book next to.

“It’s like staying with your favourite relatives”

It gives you a warm home welcome even before you meet your hosts and that’s generally the feel. It’s like staying with your favourite relatives. We had the suite with the huge bed with plenty of space, it has an old farmhouse feel. The evening meal was pork ribs with garlic potatoes, wow! Be prepared that when you ascend for bed, it’s quiet, very quiet. My wife and I normally wake up during the night but the sun was up before us. Whilst enjoying breakfast, we were treated to a herd of Ibex being playful just across the river. What’s not to like ?

My favourite hotel on our short road trip around northern Spain. Lovely location away from the hustle of everyday life. The hosts were attentive and friendly and the food was excellent. The three huskies also provide a lovely homely feeling for this rustic charming hotel. Would love to return another time. Thankyou

“Feels like home”

After a long motorbike ride while doing the Ruta de Los Puertos Asturianos we arrived at this lovely, quiet and perfectly located small hotel in the mountains, a great base for exploring the area. Suddenly we noticed the cutest furry face peeking at us from the small window on the stone wall and we fell immediately in love: it was one of the 3 huskies (the most well behaved, friendly and nice you could imagine) that welcomed us the moment we entered the garden. We had the warmest welcome by Rosa and Angel, immediately setting the tone for a very pleasant stay. They were extremely nice helping us with hints and suggestions on where to go and what to see and the best routes to take if we had the time. The feeling we had was that we were visiting old friends: talking about dogs, music, books, dogs and plants was a privilege, hanging out with the dogs, Queen, Michael and the cute sleepy senior felt like home. Our room and bathroom were immaculately clean and fresh, spacious enough for the two of us, with a big window facing the creek and mountains. The room does not have AC but in June and in the mountains that was not a problem and the central heating during the colder months must be perfect. The property is beautiful and beautifully kept, the traditional house is full of charm that combined with all the lovely details and pieces decorating the space translate into an even more interesting experience. The entire space is extremely clean and welcoming It is possible to have meals if booked in advance and we had a delicious dinner: first course avocado and salad, second course salmon teriyaki and for dessert cherries. We had a fantastic breakfast, everything fresh and with a good variety of products. Angel and the lovely Rosa always making sure if we wanted or needed anything else. The parking is just in front of the hotel. The location is perfect, making it a great base for exploring the area. Our only regret was that we only stayed for a night!
