Everything was neat, clean, well organised & Well equipped. We unfortunately could only have one night, but would have loved to have stayed for another day or two. Conveniently located for shops and restaurants.

The location was wonderful, Less than a minute stroll to the port. I never met the hosts but they were attentive on line and very helpful and responsive.

The location was fantastic. We could walk out of the property, and the sea and shops were just around the corner. We had a top floor gite , which was self contained, with our own private balcony. It was more than what we expected. We wished we could have stayed longer. The cycling routes around the island are great. We will definitely come back and stay at the same accommodation. Great experience. Thanks again.

This was self-catering. Easy walk to the boulangerie and close to the centre of the town. Charming collection of cottages with good planting and OK parking.

Very dog friendly group of six gite apartments/cottages. Great location within walking distance into the fishing port town, shops, bars, restaurants, banks and large sandy local beaches. The gites are immaculately clean and each has a private terrace. There are secure car spaces in the gated courtyard, one for each rental along with plug ins for electric cars. Our bed was very comfortable and the owners very kindly offered to change our towels as we were staying the whole week. Extremely well run, great communication and very friendly. Gites #5 & #6 are the most private/separated. We would definitely return.

Great location fabulous apartment with a lovely roof terrace.

Beautiful, newly renovated, comfortable apartment. Everything is there, perfect. It's really great. We were 2 people, but we booked this 4 person apartment. The kitchen is well equipped We were only 2 nights and hardly used the kitchen. We ate in the cozy restaurants within walking distance. The bedroom is a bit on the small side, but enough for sleeping. The bed is fine, not too soft. The bathroom has 1 sink and a spacious shower, with a shower curtain. The living room is fine, with sofa bed for 2 more people. The wifi is excellent. The parking is on site and lockable at night. There is a private terrace with table + 4 chairs and a parasol. We had apartment number 4. The apartment is centrally located. You can rent bicycles within walking distance. The island is very suitable for cycling, the cycle paths are safe and located on the entire island. We didn't see the host. When we arrived the key was in the door of our apartment. We called to ask if we could get in and that was okay. When we left the apartment we left the key on the table. The cleaning is included but it is the intention that you leave it clean. That is not a problem, because all cleaning supplies are present. They do speak English.

Apartment was self catering and was one of five sharing a quiet courtyard situated just off the main port of La Cotiniere on Ile D'Oleron. There were beaches nearby for swimming at high tide and good seafood restaurants. The hosts, Vanessa and Baptiste were excellent and very attentive. The apartment was modern and well provided with everything we needed. Car parking was available next to the apartment and the area was closed off by a gate at night for better security.
